Your boss needs to dress better. People are talking about it. For example: You and me. Are you from New York City? If so, that might explain why you are unfamiliar with the "preschool fashion sense" of so many of my older, female coworkers through the years. A "button up and jeans" would be a vast improvement.

I think middle aged women often come to their office jobs dressed like preschoolers who are about to go outside and play in the sandbox. As in, unbelievably casual shit that Goodwill might accept as a donation, but nobody would ever buy it.

Are you trying to say that Jews are rare at UCLA? California's Jewish population is about 3% of the state, so somehow I think Jews are not terribly underrepresented at UCLA.

"females across several species tend to engage in indirect aggression when competing for mates because direct aggression is too potentially costly"

Follow this link for "Pretty is a Skill,"

Some, maybe even all, of the people in that picture could be white-presenting non-whites. They could be half white, half something else like Latino or Persian, or Asian or something.

What if you're not the best motherfucking person for the job? I apply to jobs all the time where I think I am stretching based on my qualifications, but whatever, I apply anyway and see what happens. At interviews, I look sharp and professional because that helps my chances. And I think that is good advice for

I cannot understand why Jezebel is pushing the idea that "pretty is a skill." I think it is incorrect. Also, if "pretty is a skill," then it makes me skeptical that women really are held to unattainable beauty standards which so many women claim.

Hi, thanks for the comment. In your 2nd sentence, did you mean to include the word "Not" as in, "I would NOT accept her..." Because, I do not think her outfit is acceptable for an office job interview.

Ok. Honestly, when I posted my comment, I really thought about whether point #3 was worth posting. It was my initial reaction to the photos and isn't really relevant to this article. For what it's worth, I disagree that "pretty is a skill."

I think that Before/After shots with an unshaven man wearing a t-shirt and shorts would benefit no one since no man reasonably expects to get hired for an office job looking like that. The existing female before/after shots make sense since there definitely are women who go to job interviews looking like both

I'm a man. Here are some thoughts on office interview attire and gender:

The woman on the right is dressed better than most men, and the woman on the left is dressed worse than most men.

I am an Asian American man.

So, are you trying to say that marijuana usage will decrease with legalization? Maybe.

I am surprised that your Asian female friend asks the question, "Why would a black man never date a black woman?" since so many Asian women never date Asian men. Clearly, your friend has dated Asian men.

The article does say SJSU has had a black homecoming queen before.

Yeah, I think the article should have said how frequently a black person is voted king or queen. Also, what percentage of the student body is black? The article says there are 34,000 black students, which is completely false. There are only 31,000 students at the campus.

Yeah, I was shocked by the "34,000 black students." Wikipedia says SJSU has 31,278 students including postgraduates.

Is it rare to see black/black couples in the East Bay as well?
