Surely they can at least forgo a few paychecks to help the boss out.

I wouldn’t doubt that some people (especially Kotaku people) might find it interesting. Exciting might be a strong word.

We’re not that exciting, as a whole. The job is more exciting than writing toolbars for Microsoft office, but it’s still an office job. With a badge. And meetings. And deadlines. And Friday doughnuts.

Saw this on MSN:

Finally. Herve’s been keeping that ship limping along for so long, tarnishing what it once was. Finally.

Well, how appropriate that I can tell you to “Go to Hell!”

Maybe I’m not going to the right beaches. :-)

Unfortunately, in SoCal, most of the water looks like that, so you can’t tell by looks alone. But hey, TIL that in other places, you might be able to ID a rip current by sight!

Having not played the game, or even indulged too much in the videos...

Most of the hate isn’t about what it is, but about what it isn’t. It’s been a long time since a proper Metroid game, and most people (myself included) wish is was a Samus game. It’s like waiting for the next Mario Galaxy and getting Paper Mario: Color Splash instead. It could be a good game, but if you wanted another

Fine. It’s on me. I wasn’t even paying attention to the press about this game because I didn’t want to spoil anything. But some people were paying attention, and it’s the reason this article was written. I’m only echoing other people’s concerns. Did you reply to Jason on this one?

Fair enough. But, it was sold as a big space with lots of people contributing to it. We assumed that meant we could play with our friends, and they did nothing to tell us we were wrong.

The difference is simple:

No, the previous one. The Stick of Truth was developed by Obsidian, with help from some Fireforge employees. Fractured But Whole is developed somewhere else. I don’t remember where.

I know a guy who was working at Fireforge for the last 3 years. The only titles he shipped was Ghostbusters (on that short schedule) and the South Park game at Obsidian, because Fireforge contracted some of their people to Obsidian so that they could pay them for a while. He worked on both those MOBA projects that

I want one of those NES extension controllers!

Pharah: 76? Mmm....

Listen, just like there are different classes of paralympians (who are getting a surprising amount of television coverage this year, good for them), there are different classes of speedruns. Using glitches puts you in the “using glitches” class, nothing more. It doesn’t invalidate your 100% speedrun, or your any %

As an American who only kinda pays attention to Top Gear stories, I just realized that Chris Evans on Top Gear is not Captain America. This makes more sense now.

I’m not going to dispute any fact-checking here, but to me “on the bench” feels so much more like a basketball/football phrase. Or maybe, I feel like basketball/football better exemplifies the idea. Guys are on the bench all the time in baseball. When your team is up, only four guys aren’t on the bench, at most. Being
