Nothing is worth a Facebook account.

If America ever modernizes and gets universal health care, can we also get some universal sick leave?

I think you don’t understand the difference between entering the country illegally and just being here illegally. Not all people who are here have entered illegally. In fact, the majority are visa overstays or those who otherwise entered legally.

Well, one, because it’s not a crime to be in the country illegally - it’s a civil violation like a speeding ticket. If everyone who commits a civil violation should be locked up, every adult in the US, including yourself, should be behind bars. Careful with those stones and glass houses, no?

But it isn’t clear what exactly they think is going on behind the scenes beyond a gut feeling

I don’t know how their test ended up, but here’s what Mythbusters and research by a professional driving instructor (me) has come up with.

Hell to the no. 100% no. Most people don’t know how to lock down their computers and networks properly or set up a QOS that is worth a damn. Neighbor’s partner is a photography freak and is uploading 100+ uncompressed pictures a day to Facebook while you’re in the middle of a gaming session and now you’re a

Yeah, this entire era of politics regularly and routinely flabbergasts me, but few things are more flabbergasting than the simple, mundane, inability of the Democratic Party, at any level, to restructure procedural rules in order to make governance possible. They talk about the filibuster like it’s a law of physics,

Any time Trump says many people or everyone learned something at a certain time he means he learned it then. His narcissism means that he can’t conceive of people knowing something before he did.

Can’t really rule these guys out can we?

The article mentions it briefly; but it can’t be overstated how insanely paranoid these people are. They are convinced that the government is coming for their guns. The government uses these fake (“false flag”) mass shootings to whip up pro gun-control sentiment (they believe this, NOT me). This guy seems like a true

Yes. It’s called “Not being Donald Trump.”

Warren has a plan for that. She’s also going to instruct the DOJ to do a full, deep investigation of this whole mess of an administration.

No, no, my 3 year old nephew can confirm he does good at rockets. I’ve heard him say just that.

That’s what happens when a cult runs a state.

This has nothing to do with privacy. It’s not a question of should Apple do it, it’s that they can’t. They have built the phone to be extremely hard to crack. As soon as Apple caters to the government and adds a backdoor, that’s the moment when anyone can crack open any iPhone.

Everything about this looks like it’s absolutely right up my alley...

“Tommy is a loving husband and father.”

That’s true. There’s always an opportunity cost for anything you spend money on. I like the idea of the system paying for itself in a few years, though, and seeing the savings immediately on my utility bills (plus the environmental benefits)
