I wired my house years ago. WiFi has it’s uses, but I have way to many devices and do to much with networks and Internet in general to completely rely on WiFi. I would do it again today.

Definitely get your roof replaced first. It can cost $5000 or more to have the panels removed and reinstalled. Get the new roof done, then go talk to SunPower. They have top rated panels. I bought mine, so I don’t really ever talk to them, but I hear they have good customer service.
