Even then, DNA testing is not perfect. It can do a lot, but has plenty of room for error. I still see it as a huge violation of personal privacy. If others want to partake, I don’t judge. I just choose not to give away the rights to my genetic information.

Brilliant. I adopted a cat a couple years ago, but this is wonderful advice for those who cannot adopt a pet for one reason or another.

Completely agree with 1&2. It is 3-5 I don’t agree with. It is not that a law enforcement agency will use it to frame me. It is that DNA tests are far from infallible. And that is just law enforcement. I don’t want these companies to have the freedom to do WHATEVER they want with my genetic information.

I don’t blame her either. I would not willingly take part in any of these ‘services’. They have complete and unrestricted rights to your genetic information. No thanks.

Yes. Seriously thanks. I needed that post after this story.

I am happy she is fighting this. This is such BS. There is so much to unpack about how wrong this is, I don’t even know here to begin. Does she have a go-fund-me for the legal fees?

Hope you are wrong with the observation, but damn if that is not funny. =)

If using a pure monthly or even a hybrid model, it really depends on the games available. Many of these monthly paid game services have a good verity, but rarely appear to cover newer more popular titles. Good AAA tittles are not generally covered. That would limit the value for me anyway.

Simple.. because they will spread pet feces around your house if they have an accident.

That is very cool. I think there was a study that those Aibo robotic dogs had similar effects as real dogs on elderly and overall ‘quality of life’. I would argue that while not certainly possible for everyone, the act of caring for another living thing has more benefits than the simple joy of petting a puppy or cat,

Based on my very limited understanding of the sciences of both RF radiation and cancer formations, I would ‘think’ 5G is actually safer than previous standards. My understanding (which could be flawed) is that 5G also operates at higher frequencies, and as such, is blocked by more structures. This accounts for the

Quick disclaimer: Doctors are people and are subject to making mistakes or just being bad, which is why you should always seek alternate medical opinions from alternate doctors, where necessary.

It is not always what the state does with the date, which in itself is unsettling. It is what someone who may not have a real ‘need’ that may have access or obtained access to the data, and uses it for purposes beyond the original intent.

The single least useful part of the body is the Brain. As humans barely seem to use it.

While the why may be interesting and shed some light, ultimately the optics are ‘poor’. Because it looks like people are being actually rewarded handsomely for doing some rather shady and/or illegal crap.

Shit... I want to go work at Google so I can suffer these “serious consequences”. Early retirement here I come!

Shit if I had half the leg room that the person in the drawing had, I would not need a foot hammock. What airline are they using for their reference, I would like to buy all my tickets there please.

Me too.

Finding faces in clouds is way easier though. =)

I would not use anything with a Goldman Sachs logo or tied to the company in any way.
