So true. Citizens United shows that money is free speech and since corporations are people, they have a lot to say.

Some places in the US (or more accurate, some people in the US) believe vaccination is a curse or diabolical plot as well.

OK.. first mistake was saying “It’s as safe as any other vaccine”. That was all the anti-vaxxers needed to refuse it.

Not to nitpick, but at what point is it a weapon’s stash? ;) I looked for it in the National Institute of Science and Technology’s list and could not find it.

Actually, people can be arrested for owning guns. Fortunately in this case, the kid is in PA. In NJ, he would be in violation of at least one law on the 30rd magazines alone.

You and I probably agree about having more competition. =) That will truly change the way companies operate and will lead to new business models and potential savings for the consumer.

Agreed. If your argument against the merger was to prevent monopoly control over the cable in your area, all you did is prevent the letterhead on your bill from changing, and the huge cash infusion that would have come in to bring TWC’s network up to higher standards. If your argument was based on the media that the

It truly amazes me that folks cling to their ‘belief’ in how the Internet works rather than how it actually works.

I would happily pay $60 a year for this, IF they had a syncing application for computers. As it stands you have to manually upload files and download them to recover. Maybe that is how they keep the usage lower, but it is harder to use it as an automated backup repository.

I tried putting a collar on my new cat. Could NOT keep it on him. He would always get it off and I just gave up.

I was just going to day... obviously you have not met the military. =)

I would gladly pay for it if they had a backup or syncing app. But they don’t. you need to upload everything manually.

I am with you, but while not being a materials engineer, there are differences between hard, strong, etc.... For example, some things can be incredibly hard, but very brittle. So it could be prone to cracks or fractures even more so than the stuff folks are using now. Not saying this stuff would, but not sure.

yeah but that is not a tech issue, that is a super-spy issue. =) No implausible tech or hack there, just a super-man of a spy who can pull off trick shots whenever he needs to.

I am not sure the saying was meant to apply to emotions. I believe it was meant to apply to seizing opportunities while you can.

I am confused... they should apologize for proactively monitoring for places that sell data that could include their customers and when they find some, proactively resetting all their passwords and warning them?

Amen. It is actually distracting when the technical design of the weapon or other prop has obvious design flaws. Like the weapon pods sitting 3 inches off the hanger floor when landed. Lets hope there is no uneven ground or the gear has any ‘shock absorption’, cuz then you just crushed your weapon pod.

Ahh... but you can. Incorporate and go to town! =)

I am no evolutionary biologist, but for the most part, the ones who survive ‘should’ be more resilient and be able to handle this sort of thing better next time around. Assuming of course that it impacts the whole population equally. I am sure there are mathematical models that would predict how much each generation

I was thinking the same thing =)
