  • I had a lot of questions about Todd’s plan–Why did he wait until this meeting, so long after obtaining the blood, to inject himself? Why was he able to retain his mental facilities as Hulk?—but by the end of the episode, none of them really mattered. Ah well.

It also contains one of the best Batman line ever:

Don’t forget mashing Anatoly’s head into pulp with a car door. I just couldn’t buy that fight between him and Kate, the Kingpin from the Netflix series would have killed her in a heartbeat - brutally.  It’s kinda like the writers of Hawkeye had maybe watched one or two episodes of DD, but that’s about the most they’ve

He’s English. If you’re not seeing a quality English actor on film for a while there’s a very good chance it’s because they’re working in the West End on stage.

For me this is where the show revealed the limits of its inception. I’ve never been a huge fan of the comic, its frequent “Kill Everyone” plots meant that character deaths all too often are meaningless. The animated What If...? is made even more problematic by its insistence of staying inside the MCU and not expanding

I feel like I wanna say this every time The Matrix comes up as an applauded hero film. That scene at the end as they storm the building, doing the hero thing - that building is full of security guards, all of whom are real people plugged into the Matrix and as we all know, if you die in the Matrix you die for real.

Don’t ever trust your life to any sort of jack, low quality, high quality whatever. Jack your car up and use blocks to hold it there. I was taught that decades ago.

I worked in a place where the boss had us all on cameras placed like 12ft up looking down, but there were blind spots and we’d get under them and slowly over time nudge the camera away using broom handles. It’s not that we were doing anything we didn’t want to be

you can already have the free WoW experience, the game is free to lvl 20.

Yeah the minute I hear the sentence begin “Boys will...” or “Girls can...” my hackles start to rise up. I am so sick of gender specific statements. I have two daughters and one son, all adults now and I brought them up with the understanding that there is absolutely no difference between men and women. But even now,

I have a flip phone, it’s compact and largely unbreakable which is why I still use it. For Internet related activities I use a tablet, and my phone remains just that, a phone.

A better conspiracy is that Churchill knew and did nothing because they needed the US to enter the Pacific War. I don’t believe that, but it’s plausible.

That’s only because there is no other voice.

Australians just call it soft drink. But if we’re ordering we’ll be specific: coke, pepsi, sars, lemonade, fanta etc.

@Dan Perkins: where I work we portion ham daily for the use during the busy periods. As well as dating the containers with a use by date I always add a little cartoon drawing of a pig. One day one of the other staff asked why I keep putting pigs on the ham boxes, what has that to do with ham she asked?
