Just another windy day in Far Cry 4! - SketchupSWBF2

You get a free boost to Level 90 when you buy the expansion. And since you're already at level 60, you'll get maxed out professions as well when you boost.

I get it. Playing a LEGO game isn't a huge challenge. They're built kid-friendly. Here we have DC Comics heroes and villains battling hordes of henchmen, strange alien beasts and each other, but the combat is so silly and LEGO-fied it's more slapstick comedy than violence. With no real penalty for death other than

This PS1 game was basically a low-tech simulation of taking psychedelics:

Here's NBA 2K11 on PS2. Honestly it looks even closer to PS2 than I realized:

If my kids have had a good day, every now and then they can have some shaving cream in the bathtub. (It's basically just soap anyway.) Nothing wrong with that!

To be fair, in a 40+ hour game, it really shouldn't all be pulse-pounding material. Pacing demands that some parts be slow and simple, and other parts should be intense and dramatic.

How did you get this screenshot? If there are YouTubes of faceless Arno wandering the streets, I must see them :)

I cut cable back in 2010, and bought an antenna, but it rarely saw any use; when I moved, I threw it away. Once we got used to Netflix/Amazon/iTunes-style watching—watch whatever you want, whenever you feel like it, with zero ads—it was impossible to go back to scheduled programming with unskippable interstitial ads.

Yup, you nailed it. His forehead needed more motion tracking dots and bones. They got the nose, cheeks, mouth and chin, but above the eyes they didn't capture or animate nearly enough. For quiet conversation it's okay. For a yell, it's not nearly enough.

The XBone seems to do much better with updates and support and there doesn't seem to be a real winner in terms of game library for either one, so why's everyone love the PS4?

Same here. This reeks of Google lock-in. I love 60FPS support, but there's no reason Firefox or Safari couldn't handle a 60FPS mode.

It's a beautiful game, but I don't buy the "stunning graphics = next gen" reasoning. It looks good because Platinum hires amazing art and design staff. From a technical perspective it's running 720p and pushing the Wii U to its absolute limits. We'll never know for sure, but I would be willing to bet that the game

To be fair, if they'd announced another multi-month delay, people would also be calling for someone's head. This has "damned if you do, damned if you don't" written all over it.

To be honest, I never consciously thought about the 8-direction aiming during gameplay, but now that you mention it, it did register with me on some level. Specifically, while cutting with the LKW, you always got nice sharp lines. (Or, if you rotated, you'd get nice mathematically pure arcs.) So I guess that's true. I

What do you mean? I just finished the game on PS4. Solid 1080p/60 graphics, good fluid controls, tolerable loading times—what about it felt like a crappy port to you?

I agree that in most games it's very cringe-worthy. However, I thought it was handled well in Wolfenstein: The New Order. And the sex scenes were hilarious in Ride to Hell: Redemption. Since it's almost always cutscene material, it's just a matter of how well it's presented.

I didn't like it; felt like a launch title to me. The campaign maps are non-linear, which in practice means you're running back and forth a lot and trying to figure out where to go. The graphics aren't bad but in a few years I'm sure they will feel very dated. I'd recommend Wolfenstein over KZ any day.
