I had those same exact feels when the game force-switched me to Majima originally as well. That just means they succeeded in making you feel invested in Kiryu’s story. Don’t worry, those feelings will pass. By the time it switches you back to Kiryu, you should be pretty well invested in the Majima storyline as well…
I’m not sure I agree with that assessment. I wouldn’t be OK with my kids playing Bayonetta, but I’m totally fine with all of them enjoying Shantae (including my 5 year old daughter, who loves that Shantae can transform into a mermaid!)
They are actually excellent platformers that coincidentally (?) also feature buxom girls.
When the game... forced you to play as Majima?
I played Yakuza 0 and Kiwami and loved them (120 hours combined). I started Yakuza 3, and at Chapter 4 I’m strongly considering skipping the rest of the game. There’s too much time spent on the orphanage stuff—they burn hours of gameplay on stuff like Kiryu sorting out a dispute over a 1000 yen bill between the kids,…
If they aren’t being paid, is it really “going on strike?” People who aren’t getting paid shouldn’t go to work regardless—that’s not a job anymore, that’s charity.
Avoid the Eufy. My first one broke after 2 months. The second one broke after 4 months. The most positive thing I can say is that their returns department is very helpful. The more expensive robots will last longer and have good mapping so they actually clean everywhere.

LG OLEDs are absolutely blow-out winners on some metrics. If black level is your #1 concern it’s a no-brainer. But there is definitely content where OLED isn’t a slam dunk. (Hockey anyone?)

I have seen SNES Classics for sale on multiple occasions. On launch morning they were easily obtainable at Best Buy; they received hundreds of units per store here in CA. Totally a different experience than the NES Classic launch.
Don’t get the Eufy unless you plan on getting some sort of extended warranty. I loved mine when it worked but I had two of them break over the course of 6 months. Fortunately they gave me a refund. I used the money towards a more expensive brand that hopefully lasts longer.

Some days I screw around. Other days I smash through story points. Just depends on my mood.
The graphics quality was higher on PS4, 1080p instead of XB1's 900p.
If it’s a separate trophy set, that would be awesome actually.
The coprocessor for motion/Hey-Siri wakeup is a separate dedicated chip precisely so they could make it ultra-low-power and not a battery hog.
The extra images on the linked Panora article make the aliasing extremely obvious:
In the real-world photos, there is a real podium. In the VR photo, there is a podium with the same shape but it looks like polygons to me (the edges look very pixelated, like it has antialiasing off, and the lighting on it is very simple)
Based on the screenshot, it looks like hand-drawn texture artwork just projected into the space. (The officiant on the side is skewed all wrong, and his podium is just flat white geometry) Unless there’s a video link somewhere?
I own this waffle maker. It’s really good—cooks evenly and has lasted for years.

It looks like a list of cool features they had to cut to make the release date :|
