I hear you. I'm currently struggling to finish Assassin's Creed 4 (which I got last Christmas!) because the sidequests still keep pulling me away. To be fair they are really nice and relaxing. I can pop in AC4 when I'm kinda tired and just clear out some collectibles from a town. It's not deep, immersive gaming, but

I also picked up FC3 after playing and loving Blood Dragon. I finished though, just learned to skip the sidequests.

As patch 6.0.2. arrives and clears the field for Warlods of Draenor the current gateway between Azeroth and Outland will be closed. One of the best things in World of Warcraft is when big events like this happen and the entire population of a server gathers to celebrate.

Note that when fully connected and wired up, the PlayStation TV suffers from the same problem as other popular micro-consoles. The wires weigh more than the actual hardware. I had to fish my unit from behind the television stand twice now. I'm pondering gluing it down.

This was a big problem in PS3 as well. On PS4, I don't know what they changed, but it's much faster now. Could just be that the better CPU and more RAM is all it needed.

If it's a game that has been out for a few months on PS3/4, it seems like campaign/story completion is usually at least 30%+. I thought it would be less, since that percentage includes people who never ever started the game. (If a player gets to the title screen, trophies are registered and they are counted in the

This is easy: Just indicate when players have completed all of the standard, at-launch Achievements. Stick a badge on the game's icon or something. Just add some visual indicator of accomplishment. So long as there's something that doesn't disappear when new achievements gets added, I'll be happy.

Puppeteer was free on PS+ a month ago, so I'm sure finding a good price on it won't be hard for those who are still searching for one.

They had a super-primo $330 garbage disposal listed a month or two back for just $180, and I'm still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on it. I ended up spending just as much for a unit that was really good, but not top of the line. Shane, if you see any high-end Bosch dishwashers on mega sale, let me know!!

They had multiple server stress test periods where they opened up their servers to millions of users. It definitely paid off for them as their launch has been fantastic with almost zero server issues. More games should follow their lead.

Not surprising. The game is basically a novel, with zero replayability, so they probably lose a lot of sales to the used market.

Yeah. You can try it on iOS now and see the results. It's definitely a downgrade IMO. It's uprezzed, sure, but in a very unpolished way. I have the original Phoenix Wright 1 iOS game, which was a more direct port with unchanged graphics, and I highly prefer it even though it's still using iPhone 2G-level graphics.

Well, you do understand people don't last in interproject forever, right? Every day you're sitting there, getting paid to play games and Facebook and not getting hired by another team, is one day closer to being laid off. You don't know when it'll happen, but you know it'll happen eventually. If you don't get picked

Wow, that's awesome. Didn't know that program existed. Don't think I qualify but congrats on the nearly-free games :)

What site did you use here? I want to get in on that $10 action :)

Probably Best Buy Gamer's Club. 20% off new releases for an annual subscription fee.

TLoU Remastered for $10? How'd you manage that? It definitely hasn't been at that price at any store.

I am also getting a little tired of James & Mike Play, but I can see why they do it. They probably filmed 20 of these in a single day, and Mike can do all the work to edit them while James focuses on things like the Blu-ray movie release.

You're a huge Nerd fan and haven't been to Cinemassacre.com in the past 4 years? It's been on the front page pretty consistently the whole time. At any rate, it's not too late, I highly recommend you check out some of his Cinemassacre work. There are some amazing gems in there. (It's not all gold though!)
