I wish threads like this gave credit where credit is due. This isn't "amazing faces of Skyrim"—this is "amazing faces of mods." The game itself does not ship with this level of quality—it's the modder community that makes it so special!

This reminds me of Trash Panic.
I had the exact same thought.
From the headline, I was expecting a release of Ninja Baseball Batman on Steam. (Which would be awesome!)
Seriously, try the game on a different TV set. Your reactions don't seem to line up with mine, or anyone else who I've talked to. A little motion blur on fast camera pans, sure. But it was very minor on my set; if I hadn't known about the effect, I wouldn't have been able to see it.
I wonder if the effect depends on your TV set. In my case, I would have preferred the option to enable the multiplayer 60fps mode in single player; in your case, the exact opposite. :)
I think the plaintiff loses on a technicality... Shadowfall does support 1080p in multiplayer. It generates 1080 distinct lines of picture.
That's just loading delay. TLoU on PS3 had tons of videos with similar issues. A lot of times it meant your HDD was failing :(
This looks like you've been disconnected to me. Lots of games will do this when you have high ping or have dropped—you can move around, and enemies will continue their basic movement patterns, but you can't hurt anyone and no one can hurt you. When you reconnect everything will sync back up as if you had sat…
I've been told this is a common thing for the ladies. But what do I know.
Okay, maybe this is a bit immature, but around the ten second mark in this video, League of Legends almost sounds like porn or something.
But happen it did, and just like the Saturn, Sega's swansong console welcomed a raft of splendid games. The popularity of Sega-branded hardware may have waned, fatally, but first-party titles showcased the company's impressive quality control. Crazy Taxi, Shenmue, Sonic Adventure, Daytona USA 2001, The Typing Of The…
I agree with you on TVs. 1080p on a television is plenty. I would not start replacing my Blu-rays with 4K movies if a new disc format ever emerges (whereas I was more than happy to replace my DVDs with Blu).

Me too. If you want to replay MM, get it on Wii VC. No interest in a remake unless they change the time limit mechanic substantially.
don't let their kids install game on the PC because "games screw up the computer, and that's why we got you a console anyway"
I also thought it was temp, placeholder VO work. I would never have guessed it was voiced by someone famous/talented. (I don't watch GoT.)
I forgot PS4 games all load from the HDD now, whoops. But anyway, a faster hard drive (or an SSD especially) will mean faster texture streaming compared to a slower HDD. It might not be a huge difference in most games, but it will definitely have some impact.
For games with streaming textures, like Wolfenstein: The New Order, textures may sharpen up faster. (Particularly if you downloaded the game, less so if you're playing it off disc.)
Popular consensus seems to be that it's much better on next-gen. PS3 had a lot of trouble maintaining a good framerate in busy areas. PS4 is rock-solid 1080p/30.
