Super Metroid was SNES. SNES' resolution was actually higher than GBA. (Not that much higher, though!)

So basically you adopted a very weird pacifist gameplay style, and you're surprised that it wasn't as fun?
This gives me a Noby Noby Boy vibe, just not so cartoony.

You'd be the only one who liked Strider Returns then ;)
Make time for it. It's a great experience. It will make you think.
Personally I think TLoU deserves GOTY, but Bioshock Infinite definitely got short shrift as a contender for the title. March 2013.
But the kicker is that the PS4 side isn't being enlarged. Only the XB1 side is being zoomed in. And that's precisely the complaint. XB1 is scaling up a 720p image to 1080p. (The exact number for COD:Ghosts might not be 720p, I haven't followed this issue in a while.)
Here, look at this lovely GIF:
I have a PS3 and PS4 sitting side-by-side and the PS3 still gets way more use.
I'm talking an external USB enclosure for the drive. e.g.: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc…
My most recent hard drive failure was a WD drive in a third-party case. After exchanging the drive twice, I realized the problem was the case, not the drive—I swapped in a new case and suddenly everything worked perfectly. I didn't realize case problems could cause problems very similar to a real HD failure—repeated…
You might have completed GTA5 because you didn't actually know the game was about to end? I sure didn't realize it. There's the final heist, then a "clean up loose ends" mission, and when that mission ends, whammo! Credit roll. I had a little WTF moment at that point. Not saying the story had anywhere else to go, but…
Yeah, these segments are basically advertising and I'm sure the game publishers pay for this just like any other promotional material. Most of the guests have a movie or book to promote as well. Late night talk shows are fun but outside of the monologue, they are always trying to sell you something.
I think this is a pretty killer deal. If it were me, I'd buy it but just don't open the package until after Black Friday. If the price goes down a bit, return/price-match. I can't imagine it going much below $180 though.
I looooooooved Tanker, but man, if I spent $30 on just Tanker alone, I would have felt awfully disappointed. I think $15 would be a better price point for that much content. I just played Bioshock Infinite: Buried at Sea part 1, and that was a similar amount of gameplay/content, priced at $15. (And there are plenty…
Unless you played the entire game, beginning to end, you can't say it felt finished. The first three hours might well be 99.9% finished, but if they want a 10 hour game, there could still be a lot left to do.
I've had the Wii version on my shelf for months—never touched—but somehow I convinced myself to pick this up for $7. I still want to try it eventually!
Exactly this. I have several 0%s in my trophy list from games I played one time and no longer have at all. Those are just clutter.
