I loved and was endlessly fascinated with player pianos as a kid. No many of them around when I was growing up, but a few in places like Shakey’s Pizza and other establishments that traded heavily on nostalgia and “old-timey” decor. I now have a piano that used to be a player piano, but the mechanisms were removed…
