Take it easy, I’m not saying it’s identical, but it depends on your model. Once they moved away from the BC builds, and before they went with the slim, they switched capacitor suppliers and in conjunction with the heat, you’d be really hard pressed to find working, problem free phat ps3s. That’s not anecdotal, those

Dropping chief was what they were working towards and everyone lost their minds. I actually was fine with that myself.

I liked 4 more than 5 but I'll never understand the 343 hate.

They did a 180 when they bought all those studios, but let’s be honest, good games take time. Covid has not helped anyone. Sony delays may be coming too. Personally I think its smart choice. I didn't care for the art style and I think they're going to make big changes. Plus I hate the idea of crunch.

Yeah it was a good value for the day. We were early on the DVD.  I’m pretty die hard 4k blu ray so XBox one X still plays a shit load of videos.

I think that stuff goes both ways, but yeah. PS4 is the first time I didn’t get a Sony console (as my secondary). My backlog is too big as is, but generally speaking I think Microsoft (post Phil Spencer leadership) is more consumer friendly, and less arrogant.

Thats a long time for a Phat Ps3. Everyone talks about red ring, but PS3 seemed to have just as many problems. Had lots of friends with dead PS3's.

I was similar. Sony has always been an arrogant company. I hated that their PS2 lies killed the Dreamcast (look it was powerful but it took a long time before anyone could use it).  Ended up getting an Xbox, then a GameCube. Eventually got a refurbished PS2. While both systems were more powerful, the amount of Jrpgs

The DC ate the PS2s lunch for that first year. Unfortunately Sony is way better at marketing. Nfl2k started better than Madden, it ended better than Madden. That DC launch lineup is legendary. I don't think there was ever a more impressive one.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think life would have looked like for someone who dodged service?

Thats a really brilliant point. By buddy came over to Lan party with me the other day. The three games we wanted to play ALL needed updates....

They have an IOS beta if it doesn’t release at the same time. But you know what you may be right. People might look at Xcloud and say Stadia is a better deal. Stadia sales seem pretty low. The only chance they have is if they also allow for local PC ownership in addition to cloud.

Right, when you select a level you can pick one or the other and then once you beat it you can just do the hard mode.

There is an easy mode. I’m confused?

Wow. That was a long read. But I agree this is where the show takes off. I liked the show, but my criticism was that it was SLOW. Too slow in fact. While I stand by that criticism, I now understand why those episodes were the way they were. Very optimistic about the show.

People who have physically demanding jobs just don’t need the same amount of exercise though. But most job in the US are service based and not physical if we’re being honest.

It takes a lot of work to be a 10/10. On the other hand if you wanna get to 8/10 that doesn’t take much time every week. I think covid has taught us that time aint the issue.

I bet they'll be able to track an increase in use for sure.

Who is “they’re” in this case? The author?

I'm with you on this. Kotaku seems to be getting pettier every day. The problem is it's hard to take their constantly turning over writers seriously because EVERYTHING is bad and no credit for even attempting to draw parallels to the danger of not standing up for others even when it doesn't effect you.
