The 4090s not hitting 60 just doesn't seem to track with digital foundrys stuff. I mean I'd never pay that much for it. But yeah the game performs better when you're not in a city.

There’s no way you can say with a strait face this game isn’t worth $70. Lacking on content it isn't.  You just want an excuse to pirate it.

How many hours have you put in? It's a different kind of exploration because it's broken up, but saying there is no exploration doesn't feel honest.

Don't worry. That statement about 2005 just isn't even close to reality.

One of the things I always enjoyed about looking back on the FF13 thing, was when 13-2 came out, almost every review said something like “well they did improve in pretty much every category” Then go on to rate it lower than what they gave 13. FF definetly has a prestige bonus. I’m in the category of FF13 should have

While they’re definitely different reviewers, looking back that IGN gave Fallout 4 a 9.5, makes this 7 seem more odd. It’s fun, but if it’s a 9.5, and Starfield improves in almost every category...its confusing.

Well someone didn’t read...

The reality is that Japan is now a tiny market for consoles anyways now. But I would still rebrand it overnight to the Sega MS Xbox in Japan. It might seem like window dressing, but why even fight it?

Theyre far more likely to. I know it's not popular to do so here, but MS wants to release less COD games and get everyone out of the COD mine.  It always kills me that the team that made awesome Tony hawk remake was disbanded and sent to work on COD.

There was no fixing the cell and their dumb memory management though. That was a completely self inflicted wound by Sony. But PS3 did eventually beat it world wide. Ironically I bought mine specifically to play Ff13 versus and the last guardian.

To be more specific, halo infinite didn’t flop, it sold really well and was well reviewed. It failed as a service game.

Square Enix feels like it's a top down management approach.  Biggest difference is that in the past Square set the trends, now they follow them. "kids like action, no turn based or parties" "someone make us a souls game! Those are popular right?"

Id contributed to the shooting, movement and motion blur. But engine wise, it's still so apples and oranges. Id tech is amazing, but it's like a race car. You don't wanna drive cross country in it.

Apparently they did extensive rewrites on their engine. They’re calling it creation 2. Obviously no one will known for sure until modding comes around. But fallout 4 really showed it age. It was after that they got down to doing all of that which is why I think we only saw one bathesda softworks game last gen.

Rage 2 user avalanches proprietary engine. It does some things well but a poor fit for Fallrim type games.

It is a weird take. Also I'm pretty sure they will find it's more profitable to release PC day and date. That's why they're doing it for all of their service games after all. Im enjoying PlayStation games on PC at least.

He isn't involved but he left enough design documents to give whoever is in charge tons of additional ideas to add.

“we’ll keep releasing games first on PlayStation until we determine that it's way too profitable.”

They’ve actually been pretty forward about their real intentions which is mobile growth. King, the makers of candy crush are the real target. I believe apple and google both smoke console gaming revenue. They’ve said they want to break up the duopoloy of the Apple and Google game stores and offer an Xbox gamestore on

I suspect COD mobile will be a better home for the Switch 1. The future will likely be for the switch 2. But their engine is very saleable, but they may stick to some last gen tech.
