Seriously? Are you trolling or do you honestly not understand?

Minecraft? Fallout? There’s a rumor that Sony is looking to get the rights of their games because it doesn’t seem like they want to develop games any long. I think it’s a solid idea.

Do zero work? They were responsible for advertising and promotion and they paid Epic upfront for it. They paid a ton to own it as well. The main reason they said it was purchased was because Epic was tired of it and didn’t want to touch it for at least ten years (back in 2014 as I recall).

I haven't tortured myself with any dark souls yet, but it really forces you to focus.

For sure, it could be excellent regardless. I think my concern is this could end up being a day's end situation. It probably won't be. Bushido blade on the PSX really cemented what samurai combat should be like for better or worse.

The overclocking is silly and when it was announced I was shocked no articles were calling that out and just said well 10.1 is pretty close to 12.6 (or whatever it was) but that’s only if they under clock their already underpowered CPU. It's not a death sentence but it's marketing BS. They made hardware choices for a

I had that same thought, but to be fair, I don't think that ever ran on a dev kit. I'll remain optimistic.

That maybe wasn't a perfect description, but I mean that it’s a samurai game for everyone. Sekiro is a great game, but it is not for everyone. Your description is probably more accurate.

The graphics engine is simply superb. But after playing Sekiro, I’m concerned it looks too easy with not enough challenging stealth. I guess they’re going for more of Samurai Uncharted (not that it’s a terrible idea), but I can’t help but think I won’t be challenged.

The performance in that game was terrible though but I understand what you mean. It would be great if they hire the team that made touryst. Their game had a similar look but had rock solid performance. The engine is really awesome.

I agree. It’s like telling people to appreciate ray tracing. It’s not an easy thing to see. Those reflections are different from these reflections? Cool bro.... But Sony may not have true hardware ray tracing. I know everyone says it’s important but I couldn’t explain it. I am more excited about this gen compared to

Its not going to look AS good. There is no way there is going to be parity. Remember their 10.2 teraflops isn’t going to be constant. It’s going to be closer to 9 teraflops. The question is with lods adjustment make a difference to consumers?

For sure. I hope you don’t think I’m being contrary just to be a bastard but I was pretty impressed with the 360 gen. It went on for so long it was kind of crazy thinking back on it. Launch ps4/xbone games just ddidnt look that much better the first year so I was dissapointed.  I think with this gen, it just took a

I hear what you’re saying but the cross gen this time around I think will be quite a bit different. This won’t be the evil within type of stuff. Lots of PC games have some ray tracing features and all of that stuff should be in stark contrast to their PS4/xbone counter parts.

Yeah I remembered how exciting I was and I sat there with my jaw dropped because it was so shitty.

I couldn't believe how badly 3 performed. It was like beonetta, but it was the main version. That series had so much potential.  Would have loved to see another take on it.

Im surprised it took this long. I had been hoping for nier backwards compatible. I'm curious about how much is reworked.

The one thing people aren’t talking about (mostly because MS isn’t yet) is that they’re gonna do the series S for $200 or $250. Obviously that’s aimed at parents and consumers who don’t care as much about 4k, but that might be a huge market segment.

FF7R isn’t exclusive, just a timed. And seeing how the game isn’t even complete, I’m wondering how that will play long term?

I think you’re being a bit dramatic, but I would acknowledge that FF7 is not perfect, and Tim Rodgers added lots of interesting context to those things. Things were different in 1997 with no patches and no foresight about translations for foreign markets development wise.
