Who knew Christopher Walken was a Jalop?

You know what? This will decimate all, after, you put about fifteen grand in it or more. If we have to, overnight parts from Japan.

Trying to imagine calling the insurance broker to add it to the policy.

The record has to be my sister.

Canadian dollars, as pictured below.

The Smart Fortwo. This is a dumb car, horrible mileage for size, completely impractical and scary. My neighbor purchased one and a few days later came over to me and said, I think I made a mistake...haha

Miata needs to branch out like prius has done for Toyota.. Miata sedan, miata off roadster, miata gt cruiser and maybe a electric miata for good measure.

That's a very tough thing to do, a sedan will need 3 more seats which the Miata doesn't have, that would need an expansion of the wheelbase. That's the first thing on the list of building a new platform.

Umm...Mazda already built a fixed-head Coupe in 2004. They produced a full 174 or 179 of them.

I've often misquoted Patrick's "That's a world I want to live in." many times regarding this. Only a year or so ago and it looked like so many new inexpensive RWD manuals to choose from. I love my FR-S (especially in my aftermarket AutoX trim), but competition is good.

....which is as close to reality as a Miata based coupe but, yeah. Simple, light, 3-box design.

So, the Nissan IDx?

Now this is gonna sound crazy, but bear with me a minute.

Come to think of it, didn't every automaker and their mothers have plans for GT86 fighters a while back? Chevrolet filed a lot of historied names and even showed concepts that could theoretically be attached to those names, and now we have plans for a Miata Coupe and a mysterious 124-that's-not-the-spider.

Useless Carbon Fibre gets my vote. I love Aston Martins, but they weigh more than Kenya. That little strake of CF isn't helping you. In 20 years it'll look outdated and silly, especially when cheaper cars (Golf territory) start to use it. STOP.

So basically, what everyone on this thread wants is … the malaise era design language to return.

Flat fenders around the wheel well. Why must 98% of all new cars do this? And when/why did become a thing?

For that matter ALL plastic headlight lens covers. Eventually the yall fog up and discolor, becoming an eternal pain in the ass to have to constantly restore, which is a downhill death spiral. AND they cost a bloody fortune to replace!

The LED blorps offend the worst, the LED blips are such a bother, I really think they are worst of all the squiggles and squoggles
