I'd be leery of the "small" farms as well. My family owned/owns a "small" plantation and there were definitely slaves kept there, and they were most certainly not well treated.

When I was about 8 or 9 an elderly relative referred to an even more elderly man as "boy". I hadn't heard that particular slur before and genuinely confused said "but he's older than you!" Later that day my parents explained what "boy" meant in that context, and I never heard my relative say it again.
Maybe it's Mandi? http://www.forharriet.com/2013/12/dear-a…
The Lady Gaga Lupus rumors do have a solid foundation though. She has a family history of it and has talked about being tested for it.
Know what cats do when you try to get them to do stuff? The opposite of the thing you want them to do.
Miley, you aren't twerking. You're exercising, and you aren't even doing it right.
The film rights for Daredevil reverted back to Marvel fairly recently, sometime last year I think? It was announced not long ago that he, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones are getting their own individual miniseries on Netflix, followed by a team-up series!
We've needed a Wondy movie for years, but Marvel and DC are two completely different companies. Marvel certainly needs a female led movie, and even though they haven't announced one yet, they at least seem to understand they have a large female fanbase. DC seems to be actively trying to offend and drive away women and…
No problem! The film rights to the characters are a bit confusing. X-Men, Spiderman and I think Fantastic Four rights are all still owned with other studios. To make things even more confusing, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver can appear in both the X-Men series as long as their Avengers connections aren't mentioned and…
Daredevil and Spiderman won't happen, Sony owns the film rights to Spidey. DD is getting rebooted for "TV" (Netflix series) though!
See, Marvel's pretty much run through its A-Team of superheroes (unless they relaunch the Fantastic Four or finally pull together a Dr. Strange movie), so they're digging deeper into the back catalog.
Ebay, Etsy. Heck, if you don't mind some slight historical inaccuracy you could always get Caroline's stuff.
"Bill Nighy's Butthole" is the name of my next band.
She still got shit about not calling herself a feminist even after she referred to herself as a feminist in at least two different interviews!
You seem to be new here, so I'm going to assume you mean well. I'm not sure if you've noticed the phrase "Nice Guys", sometimes with a "TM" added on? That's directed towards a certain type of guy. We all know that there are plenty of guys out there that are genuinely nice people, but there are also Nice Guys who are…
It really helps listening to more than just the chorus. The meaning is especially obvious in the first verse:
This is kind of a weird one, but I love the Black Widow by Jads International perfume. It's a gimmicky Avengers tie-in novelty perfume that I only bought because it was one of the very few pieces of Widow merchandise I found. And it is absolutely gorgeous. I've read a few reviews saying it smells like YSL's Opium,…
Thrift shop in particular irked me, rappers have been rapping for ever about how they were forced to live on the cheap and still managed look fly and have added the extra dimension of how it feels now that they finally made it.
It's an unpopular opinion, but I prefer her Catwoman to Michelle Pfeiffer's. It's no fault of Ms. Pfeiffer, but Selina wasn't a frumpy secretary who died and came back to life with kitty powers! I've seen people online say Hathaway was a terrible Catwoman because she didn't have a whip!
There have been similar articles in the past about other women they've gushed over for weeks or even several months. And within a few days there's a "she's really not that great" article and then she's a feminist nightmare. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if to see those kind of articles about Jennifer Lawrence on…
