Erm, yes I agree as I feel the same myself. Doesn't change the fact that he has actually said that he was quite religious as a child.

You can order them from US Amazon, but can't have them shipped from abroad because the strip inside that makes the popping noise is technically an explosive.

That's Ricky Gervais, not Steven Fry. And I think you're pretty right on, he has mentioned that he used to be really religious as a kid.

He saw an item he wanted, worked, and saved his money for it. That is spending his money wisely.

It was my first as well! Well, a joint first with an Alice in Chains album, which is really sad and ironic considering how close Layne Staley and Lisa's deaths were.

Why don't you defer to the employees themselves?

If you've read this entire thread you would notice that there are French people in this very conversation who are against this law. There's also this article in Business Week which also addresses your argument about unions. And really, while our world would be far worse without labor unions, it's incredibly naive to

Oh please, this law is shitty, but it has nothing to do with US style capitalism. It's a religious law in a secular country, and unfair to non-Christian business owners and employees who may have a different day of rest. It's unfair to workers who may have odd hours (paramedics, cops, firefighters, etc.) and may only

Not to me. I for one prefer working on Sundays.

Don't retail workers deserve to have a weekend day to spend with their families too?

I moved to the UK from Oklahoma. Back home I thought it was ridiculous that car dealerships were closed on Sundays, and then I moved here (and for the record I don't live in a big city like London) and the grocery stores are closed before 4pm on Sundays. Not being able to buy a car on Sunday is one thing, food though?!

I think that's just a mistake on Doug Barry's part. The MTV article says they were offered it on the heels of "Baby, Baby, Baby" which is from 1992. That doesn't sound right either though.

While I know the "hit me" isn't meant literally, it seems really tasteless to offer it to TLC considering Left Eye's history with Andre Rison.

They're about $100 now, which is expensive, but they're really well made. Mine was stolen from my parents' storage locker last year, but was still in near perfect condition. Besides, a LEGO set can get well over that price and many people don't see a problem with a "boy" toy being so expensive.

Since the Duggars are so pro-life I'm curious why they don't count the one they lost fairly recently as number 20. They gave the kid a name and had a funeral for her, so why don't they say they're trying for 21?

In the UK you have to register intent to marry with the local council, and when you register you have to have the venue booked. Did they not do that? What the hell?

No problem! :)

Are the Beastie Boys guilty of something similar?

I said this in a comment further down the page, but the point of a dreamcatcher is to protect a person from nightmares. It is meant to be hung over your bed and bad dreams are supposed to be caught in the web. Getting a tattoo of one is essentially trapping your nightmares into your skin. So no, you don't have to be

Miley, let's talk about the dreamcatcher tattoo. I don't even want to talk about the appropriative aspects of it, there are plenty of people who will be discussing that in other comments. But... Miley, you do know what the point of a dreamcatcher is, right? It's meant to protect you from nightmares. Tattooing one
