That was terrible. And I believe the next book, the author started off by basically saying (as Dexter) "Boy was I really thinking some stupid things lately. Glad I'm all better now". I wonder if the publisher decided that the dark passenger had to be literal
Announcers are for the most part fans who have good radio voices and speak in complete sentences. Rarely are they truly insightful analysts. The ones on national TV have teams of producers who can fill them in on rules and such. Local announcers don't get that luxury.
