The #67 was in 3rd at Sebring until a few laps before the checkers. The top 6 cars in GTLM were all on the lead lap.

BIG MISTAKE.
The CTS-V breathes way more fire!
So far Ford has not made any announcements on output other than “Over 600hp”, which they said the very first date they unveiled the car.
There’s nothing “wrong” with it, other than it isn’t legal in any major GT racing series, save for maybe Super GT in Japan.
Although this NSX GT3 and the Ford GT will NOT be direct competitors on track.
When you said “odd”, I think what you meant was “awesome”.
It is interesting (and not surprising) that while the car continues to be TDI diesel powered, there is not a single mention of TDI anywhere on the car’s bodywork. Audi trying to distance themselves from Dieselgate...
Especially as the same (basic) engine is powering the Ford GT. I feel some people are dogging the GT for having a bespoke engine (regardless of what it is), but I also feel like there’s the inverse of that, where lots of people will get excited to buy a Ford car or truck that has the same engine as Ford’s new Le Mans…
They are the same weekend, but both will get a pass because they’re platinum rated drivers. Bourdais is a Le Mans veteran, so I wouldn’t have much concern over him, but Dixon is a true rookie at Le Mans this year. He’s as capable as any driver on the planet, but Le Mans is definitely a place where seat time on track…
Obviously the more cars you have, the more chances you have to win, but also, the more you have, the more you can learn over a period of time and the higher the chances of getting “EcoBoost” on everyone’s TV screens.
If American cars sweep the top 6 spots, I’d say that’s a bit of a triumph.
Here are the schedules for both IMSA and the FIA WEC. In America, IMSA can be fewed on a combination of Fox Sport 1, Fox Sports 2, Fox Sports Go and IMSA.com and the FIA WEC can be seen on a combination of Fox Sports 1 and FIAWEC.com
The flag on a race car refers to the flag of the entrant of the car, not where the car is from.
That is definitely not the case. Multimatic is building them and surely has had a lot of input in the development, but the road cars are largely developed by Ford Performance in Dearborn.
Maybe what color the mirrors and windshield banners will be, but definitely not the cars themselves. All four cars will probably have the same basic livery we’ve already seen.
Don’t forget how pathetic Corvette Racing was in 1999 when they first started, too. And the Fords are 100% on the pace already, so fixing the reliability is the main concern. I wouldn’t be surprised if they come out and have a great showing at Sebring this weekend.
I would almost guarantee this is the power retractable hard top version, not an actual coupe.
I’m amazed there is no great green. Chiltern Green is a classic Aston color and it’s not there and there’s no darker British Racing Green, either.
Because they don’t need to give it more power. All of the aero/suspension/brake upgrades will make it a significantly better performing car without having to spend any money making it more powerful. And at the end of the day, this is a “parts bin” package. The whole idea of it is use parts you already have to offer…
