Thought the same damned thing, man.
Thought the same damned thing, man.
Reminds me a lot of the comic book storyline back in the early '80s. Plenty of people who worked for Cobra were not evil. Most of the town of Springfield's residents weren't such bad sorts. Plenty probably thought they were working for the good guys.
I'll keep that in mind if I ever attempt to read through again.
I tried, based on a roommate's strong push for me to read it. I was just kind grossed out. Also, the plot never did anything for me and seemed really basic. I kept wondering if maybe something was lost in translation. I read quite a bit of it (more than I wanted to, really, but I wanted to give it an honest shot) and…
Most of the outdoor island subcontinent of Vvardenfell.
I did something similar where I said "screw it" on a thieves' guild quest and flew through the dungeon, stupidly skipping parts I was supposed to see. I just reset everything. I may have had to do something to reset a character, too. The only quest I've been unable to finish this way is the murder mystery in Windhelm…
There are console commands to start quests over at certain points, like from points 1-5 or something. That's the only way I was able to finish the Thieves' Guild quest line. Just toggle the quest to start over again and try it from the beginning. Or toggle it to just finish the quest. There's no reason that shouldn't…
Bungie's the shit. I'm not even a Halo super fan.
"Are you serious? Are you serious, America!?!"
Truth. I love FFVI. I'm actually running through a playthrough right now.
*cough* Chrono Trigger *cough*
After reading a lot of these comments, it seems pointless to say anything positive or negative about any game in this series. Someone loves what you hate. Final Fantasy has become so many things to so many people that no one is right. Everyone is right. Art is subjective. People get high on nostalgia.
Eh. The original (American release at least) was far from perfect. For instance, the Evade stat did not work. They accidentally coded both Evade and Mblock into the same stat. There are scores of errors in that game. So, while it may be my second favorite game of all time, it's far from perfect. But, yes it's way…
Agh! My eyes!
I was going to make a Ray Lewis joke, but someone beat me to the punch.
Liar! I've been to your country, stop trying to keep them all for yourself! :)
As much as I'd like to call you out for pigeonholing an entire demographic... you're god damned right, man. The whole tend days I spent in Sweden, going to parties, going to the malls — doing any activity — I ran into only beautiful women. Even the not-so-amazing ones were in such good shape that I was just walking…
Cool character, but is ultimately (mostly) redeemed. Can't be the best if you go out fighting on the side of good.
Saying "Kefka ha no deep tragic backstory" is not entirely correct.
