Being so amazed an engaged in science, it almost saddens me having been born after huge leaps like these, the push beyond frontiers. Today's science and technology continues to evolve, but on a smaller scale. Today's advancements are new microprocessors, new transistors and nano materials, graphene is a good example.

The dad in Gremlins already tried it.

And a spider is what sort of gadget...?

More forced memes. Yay.

How come about any website Giz links to tends to go down? *Facepalm*

I seriously hope there will be a resolution upgrade, because after getting used to the iPhone 4, that PPI would be a serious dealbreaker for me. I want to be able to use Air Display with my Macbook without scaling down.

@samirsshah: Yeah... It took me three SE phones in a row to figure out how crappy they really were. Then I had two Nokias, whereas the latter one was running Symbian S60. Then I switched to my current iPhone 4. Felt like a real relief to be honest, after that laggy and inconsistent Symbian experience (you never knew

If you want to call yourself a REAL gamer, or at least a PC-gamer, then you get off that ass and actually build your damn computer.

@dethklokso: Oooor... You move to for instance Sweden where ANY carrier can be used with ANY phone ;)

Damn, I have a physics test that starts at the same time and lasts for five hours. Well well.

Sigh... A vacuum cleaner wrapped in aluminium foil, more or less. If it worked as they say, with cold fusion, they would gain ALOT more energy when using it. To me, it looks like a home-made hydrogen fuel cell, which it probably is, if it not a scam 100%.

@JohnnyLongarms: I overexaggerated a little bit. Although the "moral code" of computer building is more or less that the profit on top of the cost of the materials is the cost of the time spent. And as I cannot know exactly how complicated this modding process is, that is an open question, what the extended profit is.

@OneTech: You assume that tech bloggers are too dumb to run parallells or boot camp? Please, first you say that the pc alternative is so awesome due to being able to boot both OS:s, and then disregard the apple alternative for running the native OS.

@SBM_from_LA: Of course he should have a profit, that't perfectly understandable, as I build and sell computers myself. But there is a limit to what margin is reasonable. That seems to be just short of a thousand dollars profit, give or take. But it depends, of course, I have not seen the build in real life. If it is

Disappointing specs though. That amount of money and only a GTX460? At that level, I don't care that it's hand-built.

Behold, the method of human time-travel to the future unfolds: WAITING!

@SG-17: Same computing power does not necessarily mean same power consumption. Compare today's CPUs to those ten years ago, they have a lot better performance per watt. So if Sony does some kind of refined Cell CPU, maybe with less cores, and a newer GPU than in the PS3, then it might produce nearly the same graphics

I can see how they could make the GPU as powerful though, since the one in the PS3 is not very new, it's just that the software is very well optimized to run well on the older chip and also put a lot of the load on the CPU. How they'd manage to get a CPU as powerful as the Cell on a handheld though, I'd like to see...

Well 15000 isn't that much for a watch. Many watches easily goes for 100 000 dollars, so this one is at least in the lower quartile. In mortal men's realms however, its pricey as HELL.

It also happen to be the ideal temperature for most of our enzymes.
