Exactly! All presidents inherit the sins/wins of their predecessors. It’s like the airlines not having liquidity because they used their cash to pump up their stock prices but when things went bad, they wanted the government to bail them out. Unfortunately, now we’re looking at monopolies that won’t be broken up

It doesn’t help the largest refinery in the U.S. is owned by the Saudis and on top of that, we haven’t built a large refinery since 1976. We’ve had a long time to build new refineries but artificial scarcity is good for business. I mean look how we have less options at the grocery store but pay more and these

You meant pedo-state, right? :-o

Yeah, took the words right out of my mouth. I dated a woman who had an abusive ex, it was next level insanity. I hope she turns out okay and maybe she should get a concealed weapon permit. I know it sucks but people like that are dangerous.

God, I just found out now. Heartbreaking. :( I liked him a lot, he seemed like a genuinely good dude.

The OM648 by Mercedes. A straight six and diesel to boot before all the emissions time bombs were installed. My 05' E320 CDi has been nothing but a tank.

Yeah but remember when the Charger came back and people cried because it was a four door? I bet they forgot the 4-cylinder FWD Charger from the 80's. :-o

Not gonna lie, I’d get a Challenger because the backseat is actually useful when you have more than one passenger. Sometimes it happens!

Weren’t the JC and Durango based off the Mercedes ML and GL platforms respectively? And for a while the Maserati Levante was supposed to be based off the Jeep GC? Oh, what things we’ve seen!

I miss Babbage’s and Software Etc. I liked the clearance bin for all the P.C. games at Software Etc., however, at the time I did not have a PC so I couldn’t take advantage of it.

Ugh, I just typed the same thing in response to someone else. Great minds?

WISE FWUM YO GWAVE!

I think there was only one qualified Blackhawk pilot that stayed behind (there’s an article dedicated to him). Hopefully he went down with the chopper. Too bad we left behind those Chinook’s that were at the end of their service lives. One of them was in the fall of Saigon. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-62566883

This is amazing! I’ve heard of Galloping Ghost. I still have my Starfox pin. I really liked those SNES demo systems, they were so nice and compact, the Sega one was just massive. I have a recurring dream where I walk into a Babbage’s and it’s still the early 90's goodness. I actually remember the name of one of the

I remember Sears being a damn maze as a child and my mother did not have the best sense of direction. It would take us twenty minutes to make it from the Sears entrance to the inside of the mall. And Ikea, an hour before we could make it out from there to inside the mall (Potomac Mills when Ikea was an anchor store).

I bet you were probably there for the Starfox competition. You probably had the Babbages that had the two televisions with VCR’s that would run gameplay footage on loop right outside the store. Games on the sides and PC peripherals in the middle.

I assure you, I was the helpful teen! I fell within that 10-14 age range though. :-p

Don’t forget B. Dalton!

Same. I was obsessed with videogames and computers. I ended up befriending them. They would give me money and I would grab them stuff from the food court (I would bring back their change). I would help organize the store and put the games where they should be (Babbages and Software Etc. were my jam). And if a clueless

This is really fascinating, never knew about gliders and I’m going to have to read up more on it. That’s definitely a loophole but damn is it crafty.
