I’m a high school teacher now forced to teach online, and my students’ facility with using videoconferencing apps like Facetime and Zoom have been a blessing to our classes.  It’s easy to be cynical about “the youth of today,” but moments like this are nice reminders of the grace we all carry in us.

I went to see my doctor yesterday for depression. I’m not sure if the nurse couldn’t help herself or it’s a state law or some shit, but after we did all the check in stuff, as she was leaving the room, she told me my BMI and that “diet and exercise was recommended.”
