The older two are boys so I could kinda get into their stuff, but the little one is a girl and we’re into care bears, and Sophia, and barbie which is like watching a meth addict with tons of money. I can sorta deal with Doc McStuffins at least.

My kids were watching the Peter Pan one a couple of months ago and, when it finally ended and I got up to turn it off, my four year-old FREAKED out. It was, apparently, a two-part episode. Fuck this show.

I grew up (in the 80s) with a (front?)declawed cat. She couldn’t climb trees but she killed tons of moles and birds. She lived to age 19. She was real mean toward the end, biting my feet when I’d go out to feed her.

You are just arbitrarily setting limits. Declawing is bad, but neutering isn’t. That makes no logical sense. It's just as easy to keep your cat from fucking around as trimming its nails
