As a former XT owner I agree. It was different but once you sat in the cockpit the ergonomics were amazing. The entire console stalk with buttons moved with the tilt/telescope steering wheel. I loved the ergonomics of the XT. Everything was easily within reach.
Many GM steering wheels with airbags in the 90's. But for Cadillac to put zero effort into what amount to driving with a Kleenex box in front of you really irked me.
