The Z hits 60 in mid 5's, and that's not fast enough for people? Too many overpowered cars on the road and too much obsession with numbers over actual driving pleasure, feedback, balance, etc

Bloated barge, V8 or not
Ugly in a cool sorta way, but needs giant tires and wheels
To each his own I guess
I applaud the concept, but a '91 626??... It would make more sense it was anything else form '91 that was a little more interesting and not so extremely beige
Shameful
I would think that naval drifting would make it easier to blow them out of the water since it wouldl expose more of their flanks.
Yup, you are in the minority
The carbon fiber strap-on attached to the seat is also extra
That's not a good thing per se.
FWD isn't immensely popular just because it's cheaper. It's much more compact and lighter, allows for better packaging and generally better traction on slippery road surfaces . It's also much safer for 90% of drivers in low traction situations. As a car nut I love the purity of a rear drive sports sedan or sports…
I do love this car, but after seeing one on the road I was stunned by how HUGE it is! It was cruising next to an early 90's fat ass Camaro and it made it look smaller in comparison. Why does a 2 seat sports car have to be so damn big? I was expecting something slightly larger than an S2000. I guess once again, the…
But what's he driving?
No, size doesn't matter that much. The 308 made about 200 hp out of a 2.9. The Vette made 205 out of a 5.7 l, which is shameful. It got its edge from torque. They're both icons and I wouldn't mind having either in my garage.
Was wondering...god that thing is 50 shades of cool!
Actually, it was faster than a contemporary Ferrari 308
God that F-body looks like the bloated overstyled pig that it is next to the clean surfacing of the vette.
It's easy to dismiss the C4 Corvette nowadays, but from a design perspective it was one of the best resolved designs from the 80's. It was clean, cohesive, well proportioned and had a great body section that tucked dramatically under the rocker panels. Also the original turbine wheels are still some of my favorite…
Exactly...now, back to restomodding one with a WRX drivetrain
Yeah, more serious crimes...Recently a female friend of mine was practically pit maneuvered in Malibu by two overzealous and testosterone enhanced dickheads in uniform because she didn't fully stop at stop sign on a secondary beach road. They went full lights and sirens, and then pounded on her window with hands on…
