Beautiful car, not a beautiful price. The E12 based cars are a lot harder to maintain. Parts are a lot rarer than the later models [ owned one for a few years ]. At this price you could find a nice M6. My friend sold a 1988 M6 for $17,000 CAD. So in your USA funny munny that’s pretty close.

We had our 1993 Trans Port for 18 years. That was an amazing van! Never had big issues. Outlasted a lot of other vehicles. The 3.8L V6 in that thing was a beauty!

Ha! My brother worked at our local BMW dealership for a few years. None of the employees ever drove minis. Apparently stuff would break within months so they couldn’t even have them as demos (official advice from hq). Pretty crazy! That being said, I still like them.
