I think people have a problem with it because of what parking in 2 spots suggests. Basically, the owner is saying that he (or his car) is twice as important as anyone else (or their car).

I just don’t understand why a 98 740i is worth taking up two spaces. It’s not a rare BWM. I own a BWM that is 1 of 205 and I park like a normal person. Not even in the back of the lot.

I love this car, but I’m not sure it’s been successful enough to be called a comeback.

Did you just wake up from a 35 year coma? I can’t think of a single car produced today that has single stage paint.

HAH, this guy is my co-worker. He brings the car to the company car show every year. Looks like he finally finished the air intakes. He has had the car for at least 4 years. It has been run at the drag strip and he has the time slips to prove a 12 second quarter mile.

Actually, you are half right. The ISS is in a state of perpetual falling due to the fact that there is A LOT of gravity acting on it. The ISS is subject to .89G of acceleration, or 89% of the gravity if it were on the surface of earth. It’s just that everything on the ISS is falling at the same rate so there is

These twins were a pretty big surprise. They disappeared with as much speed as they arrived, unfortunately.

Honda’s CB500 trio. Chose between the R, F, or X. This bike is not as dead slow as a 250, but it’s certainly not a rocket ship. Max speed is around 117mph. Just enough to have a good time (especially for those of us that weigh more than 220lbs.) but not quite enough to get you to insta-death mph and acceleration.

Yes. It’s been done in a pair of Land Rover LR4’s.

I dunno what a good one is, but I have always wanted to start here in Portland, OR, turn on google maps, punch in NYC and set the route to “avoid highways.”

Hummer H2. As soon as this thing hit the streets, everyone began freaking out about how big and inefficient full size SUV’s were.

The base Viper has always been faster than the base Corvette. The ACR has always been faster than the Z06. The old ACR was a complete monster on the track. It’s basically the closest “race car on the road” formula that I can think of. For the record, I’m a Vette guy, but I’m not going to lie to myself about the ACR’s

This is my begrudging concession to the terrible speaker engine.

My wife’s AWD V6 Rav4 was pretty handy around town in the snow. Also up the mountain for snowboarding. Then again, I got some more aggressive all season tires on it since we live on a gravel road. For my situation, it’s perfect. It’s safe enough for the wife on the gravel and snow, and it’s fun enough for me in the

They put two pieces in there so you can actually roll down the front portion all the way. If it was 1 piece, it would have to stop before it hit the tire. It’s precisely the reason some car’s rear windows only roll down half way. Or in the case of the LS400, they roll down half way and tilt the front down, but still

Yeah, you’re right.

These are very popular setups for C5 and C6 Corvettes.

I’m right there with you on the mountain backroads, but the real kicker is when you find another car that’s willing (and able) to drive the road as fast as I am. I recently chased an Acura TL Type-S on one of my favorite mountain roads in my E34 540i. I wasn’t quite able to get right on his bumper, but he never got

I came here to post this.

Fuel injected cars can still flood. Especially when the cold start injector/valve decides to fail in the “on” position.
