2007 Mazdaspeed3. I absolutely loved this car when I first got it. A powerful turbocharged Japanese hatchback! I had so much fun with it and it had great features. It was comfortable and I loved the look of it, but this was the last front wheel drive performance car I ever bought. I added a short ram intake and just

FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) requires at least 50 square inch mirrors on class 8 trucks. Every truck OEM has a camera solution in their back pocket should the fed ever get their rear in gear and change the law. As of now, vehicles without mirrors cannot be sold.

Mazda CX-50. Look at those fender flares!

Combination on-ramp/off-ramp in Oregon.

I had a 2017 Explorer and my trim was certainly coming off. At highway speeds you could see it lifting off the A-pillar. That being said, it was one of the four pieces of exterior trim that was coming off that car. Explorer roof rails were well known for coming loose (Ford had a TSB about it). It seems like Ford had a

We've been doing this forever. Turbo hydramatic? HELLS YEAH.

My wife always had an SUV since we had a dog, but I still daily my E39 M5 even after having kids. The car seats move between the M5 and the 2017 Explorer Sport whenever they need to.

I accidentally put my seatbelt on during all the driving situations you mentioned. It's just automatic for me. Jump in car, belt goes on, clutch in, mandatory shake shifter, turn key. If it's a habit, it's not an inconvenience.

The wheel is symmetrical about the red line. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a factory Subaru wheel. Still looks bad.

Fiat 500 Jolly. Sure it’s cute, but these things keep selling at auction for $60k+. The one pictured here sold for $142k. One hundred forty tow thousand dollars for a micro car with no doors, wicker seats and a tablecloth thrown over the top. The mind boggles.

Oregon Pacific Wonderland plates are pretty awesome. Simple and classic.

That old thing is way out of date. Welcome to the future:

YEAH, I just love it when I hear Torch’s nasal jump all over my music.

Rolls Royce.

There is no point in putting it on a production car, but having Vantablack on a development vehicle instead of the zebra camo would be optimal. It 100% hides all design cues.

Lithium ion fires are extremely dangerous compared to fuel related fires. You need specialized equipment to put out a battery fire since they are a Class-D fire. A copper powder extinguisher is required. If the firefighters aren’t trained and equipped properly, they will likely try to hit the fire with water. Lithium

A typical diesel tractor for highway use is around 20,000 lbs. If the Tesla weighs 27k, it’s going to be a huge problem for fleets. They will lose 7k payload capacity. That being said, I’m pretty confident it doesn’t weigh that much.

BIG DEAL. Meanwhile, Freightliner is building 30 electric trucks for actual customers. 2 have already been delivered.

That is absolutely not true. The amount of air coming out of those thrusters would be frightening. 50kg of air is about 10,000 gallons once decompressed. If we use Scott Manley’s 10 second estimate from above, that is about 1000 gallons of air rushing out from underneath the car every second, not to mention the

My coworker told me a story where his friend “stoled” a car. I was like, “wait, wait, hold on just a second...”
