I used to wonder if I’d be a silent bystander in a fascist regime, out of fear. Now I feel a swelling of conviction that I haven’t experienced before, and I hope it doesn’t diminish when things get uglier and more dangerous.

The NSW state government in Australia has officially called him “a revolting slug”. Being Australian I suspect they would have called him a lot worse but there are protocols in place on what insults you can use.

YES! thank you and others for sharing that. I’m new to posting around here but thank you to all you nasty women for inspiring me. I’ve been in the midst of clinical depression and having to move back to my rural hometown as a gay man has gutted me, and then the election happened.

You know who else held massive rallies attended by giant crowds of violent bigots?

Yeah— most people steered clear of protesting rallies, but all bets are off now. There will definitely be marches and protests planned around this fucking victory tour.
