I agree with you about all except Bieber....I mean, he’s an actual genuine asshole. I don’t go out of my way to make fun of him or anything, but seriously...can we not even call out horribly unpleasant people for being horribly unpleasant? (See: Chevy Chase)

Should’ve worn a helmet to class, so you could rip it off and say “I am no man!”

Shit, I used to outright correct my teachers in school. Didn’t win me any points with them, but I can’t imagine if I’d been female.

When I saw him on the posters for Pompeii I was like "Jon Snow and the chick from Sucker Punch? That's the most electrifying romance since those two faces that make a vase."

Stop replying. As reasonable as he sounds, this is a troll. Worse, one that thinks it's smarter than everyone. He's playing devil's advocate. His name is sat4n, and there's a sock puppet on this thread named Adversary (translation of Satan).

Hey, I just think everyone should know this guy is an epic troll who thinks he's clever.

You know, I was going to give you the the benefit of the doubt, but your sock puppet kinda ruined it. You were trying to be oh-so-clever, flaunting your superiority like a vampire taking the name Dr. Acula, thinking no one would realize that s4tan was "satan" which translates to "adversary," when you're just being the

Actually, my argument is that even the ones where you are killing bad guys can lead to a more aggressive mindset. People can see the world as black and white, and problems are best solved with aggression.

I agree in part, but I can't agree with the argument that violence in art doesn't affect our perception of violence in real life. I mean, if the treatment of sexuality in games can affect our attitude towards sex, why do we insist that the same isn't true of violence? Sex and violence are our two most primal urges,

You're right, there is. However, would you agree that art (including video games) can influence individual and societal thought processes and attitudes?

Now, hold on. Yeah, these don't cause anyone to do anything, but if we want video games to be considered art, then we have to accept that they can affect us. That's what art DOES. We can't have it both ways.

Because while Zelda being playable would be great too, Link is one of those rare true gender-neutral characters. Making him female changes next to nothing, which is why it's so baffling that Nintendo hasn't even attempted it yet.

My girlfriend had CF. I know what a daily struggle it is. Two years ago, she was so depressed that she was going to kill herself the "lazy way" by just stopping her treatments. I saved her life, dragging her to the hospital when she started turning blue one day. We weren't dating yet either. When she called her

I live in an all-white Southern city...though, that's not because of Cleetus and Bubba. It's more because of Biff and Chad. Or, alternately, Moonbeam and Two Eagles (who is 1/24th Cherokee).

I know!

So he's on the market! I mean, grr...manly stuff! One Direction sucks!

You got to hang out with an attractive woman. That is getting something out of it. You might not have been getting everything you expected, but did you enjoy the time you spent with her? Does the fact she didn't share your interests and didn't want to actually be your girlfriend change any of that? No! It may change

See, an even more mature perspective would be to think about how even if she wasn't interested in you that way, and didn't share your interests, you were at least getting something out of the relationship. Is not the company of, and conversation with, an attractive woman a reward unto itself?

See, here's my question. It goes along with the whole "fake geek girl" thing:

"This is exploiting the female body!"
