I too was once seduced by the fedora/trilby, but then I realized I looked silly. I did some research on what type of hat I'd need to fit my long face, broad shoulders, and skinny frame. Turns out I'd need something along the lines of a gambler or plantation hat, and those are even more expensive than good fedoras.

Because people who wear fedoras often do so because they believe it gives them a degree of retro class, likely grown out of the pick up artist subculture and their obsession with clothes. They desire that because they associate the fedora with the "good old days" where men were men and women knew their place. They

I refuse to accept your refusal to accept my refusal to accept your refusal to speak to me!

I do believe it. When I play MMOs, I tend to play female characters and engage in light roleplaying. When I do so, I try to be as convincing as possible, mainly by using more feminine word choice in writing and, if voice chat is necessary, using a voice modifier. I have been harassed before, sometimes in just bizarre

You have every right to be annoyed. I didn't say that you don't, did I? I know I sometimes come off as pompous given that my posts tend to turn into dissertations, but I am here to learn. I feel that part of that learning (for me at least) is to put out all of my opinions—even those that are likely to get me publicly

If you carve a cross into an apple, can it keep away both doctors and Dracula?

I've found that most conservative thought comes from acceptance of two contradictory positions without cognitive dissonance. They believe that fetus is a child, and that every child is a precious gift that must be protected. They also believe that promiscuity is bad, and that having to care for a child while

Who said I was lecturing women? I'm just putting my thoughts out, and honestly I feel like my comments are more targeted to men who say "Well, I'd never do that!" I feel like I must not be communicating very well, then.

Video evidence that he's a douche off camera, particularly when slamming PBR before it was cool:

It is, but it's become a negatively loaded term basically meaning "Trolling." That's not my intent at all. I believe that the best way to reduce crime and violence in this world is to figure out why people, from their own perspectives, commit crimes, and work on changing that. In that way, trying to figure out why

I have not read the post and so I do not know what he actually said. I recognize ignorance of the law is no excuse as well. However, I feel the need to be a little bit of a devil's advocate here and question if, perhaps, he really did NOT understand consent? In social psych, the fundamental attribution error is

"What do you mean 'You people?'"

I hope that the Nemesis system is a sign of things to come. They should even use this game as a tech demo and license the system to other companies.

That first Elsa one, I'm really not seeing much difference between that and a regular Elsa costume.

I wanted to argue, but realized you may have a point about the dehumanization aspect. My experience (and why I barely notice it) is from the army, where male/female are the general accepted terms, and "woman," "man," etc. just aren't used. Of course, the entire point of the military is dehumanizing everyone, so...yeah.

What an insightful response, I understand your position so much clearer now. Perhaps, though ,you could elaborate?

Indeed, the old testament god even says that both good and evil flow from him. Remember that in Job the devil was an angel tasked with testing mankind.

I have nothing but anecdata. All I know is I've been there when female friends received unsolicited dick pics. I've received them myself when posing as female in MMOs for RP purposes. Go on any dating site (Tindr, OKCupid, etc) and see how many women's profiles specify not to send them nude pictures unless requested.

Most hacking is in fact social engineering. Anyone will tell you the biggest vulnerability in any system is the people who use it. I'm one of those people who frequently loses their ID, so when I was in the army I learned a ton of social engineering tricks to get into secure areas without having to present it. You
