I would hope that the AP or whoever owns the copyright in the photo would stand up for the photographer and insist that licensees maintain the integrity of the photo. If I were the photog, I'd be pissed.

The problem with this proposal is that child support is for the child, not the mother (or father, where he has custody). That child's right to support only springs into being once the child is born. Pre-that, it's a different question entirely.
