I always liked SNK's illustrated versions of the Capcom characters in the Vs. games...I guess those were excluded because they weren't in-house Capcom stuff?

VS SNK 2 is my favourite style of the bunch.
Game designers are a valid position in the industry. They may or may not have programming or art experience but they are responsible for creating the gameplay systems, levels, and player "experience". It is an important job. A programmer can make a technically "perfect" game that is boring as hell and an artist can…
I agree - a more complex puzzle could really show off this mechanic better. But my concern is the speed. The movement seemed so slow! Maybe it won't matter in the final game, but I want to run, jump, and practically fly like in Portal.
No combat? IDK. So far this game has not garnered my interest and this revelation doesn't help any.
this looks amazing. PC platform I assume?
I find it entertaining — but yes :)
You don't have to respond to those type of people. They are everywhere.
Say you don't like something on the internet and they are there.
Negative opinion about the things I like.. UNACCEPTABLE.
Yes, exactly. That's what I'm looking for.
The concept isn't mind-blowing, but the puzzle they've laid out in the test video is super simple. I feel like I would be more excited if we got to see a real brain teaser that showcases how the mechanics really affect the game play.
"Don't worry, there isn't any Terminator-style nakedness."
Deal Breaker.
So because I'm not blown away by this — your conclusion is that I didn't like Portal too?
Its indiegogo suggests it is going to fail. Unfortunately.
Intriguingly boring.
What do you do when the future turns out shitty? You go back to the past. This time, it's the developers of gorgeous first-person puzzle game Reset who are jaunting back through the timestream. Don't worry, there isn't any Terminator-style nakedness.
You must be a console gamer for the most part then because games not designed for PC first generally lack something that consoles have even though they are less powerful or the ports are just straight up lazy.
Assassin's Creed's before 4 are all great examples of this 3 being the epitome with its very degraded quality…
Only complaint is the generic Dark = Scary aesthetic they are using again. Stanley Kubric proved bright and well lit can be equally terrifying and it feels like a bit of a crutch to keep turning all the lights off when there's no reason other than cliché and tropes to do so. Look at Resident Evil 1 (the original,…
Um... hm, where to begin.
No combat, not really that horrifying, not really interested in buying.
Man I sure hope this game is actually scary. As much as I enjoyed Dear Esther, ChineseRoom made the second Amnesia unenjoyable. The Penumbra games and Dark Descent were terrifying. Hopefully with Frictional at the helm, this one will be good.
