Actually analog sticks are relative input and mouse and trackpads are absolute input. And yes absolute input is better.

It's software emulates a trackball just fine, don't worry. I'm a thumb trackball user too and I'm confident the controller will work fine.

I can't play with a controller at all but I can play with a thumb trackball just fine. It's pretty much like moving a mouse using your thumb only.

I know this is old but games are also played by nearly all mammals, even thou their "rules" are very loose in a comparison of magnitude (abstractly they're still rules). So games are most likely older than language as we know it.

If the game already has one choice made for you about flight or fight it's wrong regardless. In action games you fight, in casual horror you flight, in survival horror you get the choice and it's consequences are frightening.
