Don’t forget the classics. How about an early 70s MGB in Aconite purple.

ND. Too much for a 1600. In this condition that’s Datsun 2000 money maybe.

If the subframe doesn’t have terminal rust like our 9-3 did at 155k miles this Viggen is a deal. NP

It might be an NP for the price but it’s an ND for checking all the wrong water cooled 911 boxes. 996 fried egg headlights check. Convertible check. AWD check. Tiptronic check. IMS check. Even a replaced IMS needs to be replaced every 50k miles. ND for me.

Definitely Saab. We’ve owned 5 from a 1978 99EMS coupe to a 2009 9-3 sedan. They were all interesting and fun to drive. The best of the bunch was our 2006 9-3 SportCombi. That car had amazing utility and with snows on all 4 wheels it got us to VT and back to PA through many a winter snow storm.

Definitely an ND. Might have done a good job restyling the classic P1800 body but some very suspect mechanical bits. Especially that ratty and rusty looking undercarriage. Is that a fuel filter just hanging out there behind the rear axle? Who does that?

As a boomer, all I can say to you is get used to it.

ND. In this case AWD hurts the asking price. RWD touring models are better driving/handling cars and harder to find.

Try 10 years. Pretty sure that 2014 was the last year for a manual Outback. Sad.

Wouldn’t a few banks of Tesla Powerwalls be a better demonstration of capability than the use of an old school backup diesel gen?

ND. Too much for a car that hasn’t been fully restored. And what’s up with that red jumper cable shown in both frunk photos? A standard feature on Fiats?

Carma’s a bitch. I’m here all week.

I like tribute cars but at least build one that’s close to the target. Correct body style - nope, correct transmission - nope, correct color - nope. ND

I didn’t know that. The 535i manual wagon is pretty rare but not worth $35K.

Having recently sold a 2009 3 series E91 AWD manual wagon, $25K is the right price for this 5 series wagon. $35K would be about right if it was RWD. That’s a true automotive unicorn.

I’m pretty sure that Russia won’t be able to start production by pressing a plant start button. That facility had to get a high percentage of their component parts from countries that aren’t trading with Russia and won’t be for quite a while.

ND for me. Price too high for the least popular version (vert, AWD) of the least popular 911. High miles and many repairs left to do and more to come.

Compared to deaths per car accident. The EV car stats were 6 deaths in 392 accidents. In the entire US in 2020 there were 38,824 deaths in 6 million accidents. The EV rate is much higher than the overall car rate.

It looks like the wheelie bar IS the oil filter. ND for sure.

I agree. However, there were 6 deaths in those 392 crashes. That seems like a pretty high percentage. That may indicate that the drivers were relying to their perception of a self-driving” feature during highway driving at higher speeds?
