Great article. So damn true! aside from being a total tool (and everything you clearly stated above) ,Richard Rawlings is probably the saddest excuse of a car guy around. Now they want to convince people to even drive like ass hats...no letting passats pass you? really? when commuting you have to drive like that? No

Eh, I've always written that way, nobody laughed at me. Or...maybe they were laughing at me behind my back, but who cares :)

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE YARD??"

That terrifying moment when your steering wheel doesn't steer.

I hate traction control, but in the rain in a high HP, even moderate HP (RWD) car I will use it all the time. But honestly I wouldn't be driving a nice car in the rain unless I had to. There is no fun in pussy footing around using 1/10 of a cars potential.

A fairly precarious job at that, and it's kind of a big deal to make it in to work in the morning. Now when you work on your car, which of course is a lot of fun, you have to start in after

I like women. Doesn't make me want to be a gynecologist.

No garage, no driveway, living in a rental apartment with shared building parking. Makes me miss the house (and barns) I grew up with, for sure. If I didn't work on my own car back then, I wouldn't have had a functioning car.

I agree. The reincarnation of the MGB GT—-with 911 Turbo hips.
