I enjoy twitchy button hitting too when done right, but I can't think of a game where the combination of the typical turn based combat meshed with button mashing in a way I liked. I didn't hate the Mario RPG necessarily but the turn based combat was also really simple as I recall, so in that respect it felt fresh and

Just so we're on the same page I'm talking about Transformers. In many other media I'd get that too, but here it just doesn't fit. It seems like a hackneyed attempt at making the character seem cool.

What was that about having a tough skin?

Social Grace

Clever girl...

Do Cybertronians have gangs or even gangstas? I can overlook the "spiritual" aspect because the idea of the "spark" has been a part of Transformer mythology since the beginning. And yes, Transformers has always included some aspects of modern culture but like Mike said with regards to Front-Line being a vigilante it

* And what the hell is wrong with them?

So according to the website conduit is a "spiritual gangsta". Who the fuck is making this game?

That's just it, they're not difficult and because it doesn't add challenge to the game I feel like it takes away from the turn based combat. Meaning you can rely less on proper tactics if you just block appropriately and use cures and health potions. That's why I don't feel it adds anything to the depth of the game,

My bad, yes them too.

My first reaction was, "Of course he's a Paladin..." then I found that ability and fell in love with Butters. It's OP but so fun and random.

Agreed. I was going to wait but decided to pick it up anyway. Other than a little bit of stuttering during loading screens / transitions the game has ran beautifully, and I'm running it on a machine that is at least seven or eight years old.

But Stick of Truth, like the Mario RPGs that inspired it, requires your full attention. When you're on offense, you have to stay focused in order to do anything in battle, which is for the most part much more fun and interesting than leaving your brain on auto-pilot and hammering the A button. It takes some

I could care less about the d-pad. I'm just glad they've moved away from those stupid fucking sticks that MS and Sony have been using. I hate those god damn things.

If by standard you mean the easiest to set up...

I'd be laughing if that didn't sound so excruciatingly painful.

And here's another. Read this and the replies, other people have already addressed many of the feeble attempts at defending the game.

All media does that to men and women. You're cherry picking a very specific argument that's done to death.

There's a link above.
