NO. We are using base 2 in computers. Base 10 makes sense for meters, grams, etc... NOT for bits. When talking about a KiloByte, it should be obvious to everyone you're taling about 2^10Bytes. A MegaByte should be 2^20Bytes.

Yeah, it does work, it just takes A WHILE, or very little. It's a big range. But it also breaks some things, so after you upgrade, you should do a factory reset.

No, don't do this! It breaks things. If you are going to go this route, once you get your update, you would need to reset your phone to factory settings (which I would recommend anyways with any update).
