NO. We are using base 2 in computers. Base 10 makes sense for meters, grams, etc... NOT for bits. When talking about a KiloByte, it should be obvious to everyone you're taling about 2^10Bytes. A MegaByte should be 2^20Bytes.

And that is how you got in the no fly list :p

I'd be paranoid about TSA stopping me and asking why I have a power strip. They throw a fit if you want to bring a bottle of water, I can't imagine a power strip.

Yeah, I was kinda doubting... But now I've seen this about the kinnects... I preordered the leap./

He was explaining all of this to a room of designers, who maybe only a handful had computers (he asked)

I'd like to see the price difference with any other android smartphone, a dumbphone, just a landline, and going prepaid and pay as you go. Now that'd be more accurate.

Ukko? No. I'd be afraid of Storm Yoko. Hide all your Beatles records! They'll be split during this storm.

Well, I blame apple maps.

I feel like apple won't fix this just to piss you off.

I never seemly desktop. It's irrelevant.

Thats not proper humble brag. It makes you sound like a deuce. A proper humble brag is, if for example, you're part of a team that did something cool. So when you are, for example, receiving an award, you thank them and tell them you couldn't have done it without them. That's the humble part. Now, the next part is

And that's the last time we heard from him.

Well, then just look at it from the bright side... you get a chance to wipe your device clean, and audit all your apps :D

Yeah, it does work, it just takes A WHILE, or very little. It's a big range. But it also breaks some things, so after you upgrade, you should do a factory reset.

No, don't do this! It breaks things. If you are going to go this route, once you get your update, you would need to reset your phone to factory settings (which I would recommend anyways with any update).

Uhm. I'm pretty sure you're trolling now. The list of apps you have bought is stored in iCloud. You can download all the apps just fine, you won't be charged, as long as you're using the same Apple ID that you bought them with. If you are, then just call Apple! They're friendly and knowledgeable, and they can help you

Dropbox? Google Contacts? Google Drive? there are plenty of windows in the walled garden's wall.

I will grant you that it is hard to make maps... in 2005, when Google Maps started. This is 2012. If you are going to release a large scale Maps App, it better be 2012 caliber, not 2005 caliber with some 2008 3D.
