The problem is police now. When the cops went to break up bootleggers they didn’t just get to keep all their shit. Local law enforcement has no issue with enforcing federal whims now because it gets them all the money and toys they want. Plus they get to look tough on crime for the old folks.

You know that he’s going to try and introduce 100 new mysteries and new characters that he’ll never do anything with. JJ is amazing at playing “What if” and throwing out story ideas into the zeitgeist but he’s horrible at answering any of them.

City by the Sea. It was a terrible cop drama with a lame plot badly acted by some talented actors mailing it in. Just the most boring movie ever. Although worst has to be Date Movie. The worst of those scary movie spinoff spoofs.

It’s terrible but I love it. Why? There are so many problems and things that are wrong but it’s still got charm and wit all it’s own. The Basilisk dying like a particularly hammy actor is just the final point on the crown. We always dub in lines for the basilisk as it dies.

Yeah the only scene in BvS where I was happy was the rescue at the warehouse and even then he was a little murder happy.

After Batman vs Superman I wouldn’t care if he showed up again. After Justice League? That guy? Yeah I’d like to see more of that version of Batman.

Agreed 100%. I thought mentioning that he had to have a golf ball sized chunk removed from his brain around the area that controls personality might have been relevant.... It’s worrying that he didn’t mention it for sure.

Not to excuse this in any way but it may be relevant that he had a brain tumor for years that caused some extremely erratic behavior. When he told his friends later they said they all just thought he was on “Really heavy drugs”.

When I watched the Ghostbusters trailer I reacted in horror at how lame it looked. And it was pretty bad. Not as bad as I feared but nearly.
