The DS games look great, but if I had my choice, I'd go with a 2D remake like they did for FF5 on the PSP.

Target's private label sells a really good garlic and Parmesan potato chip as well.

Video game websites - if you are going to do a video feature comparing the graphical quality of two versions of a game, at least make the video 1080p. One can't fully appreciate the differences in graphic fidelity when the video quality muddies the graphics of both versions you are trying to compare.

Sorry, that was a badly phrased question.

What is this picture from?

Exactly. It looks less like a "a sandbox game that lets you do anything" and more like a sandbox game that lets you walk around and look at anything (that you want to take the time and build). I'm not seeing much doing in the video.

It doesn't really matter if they were in talks with Capcom or not. The only thing that matters is whether they received a license from Capcom to use the trademark or not. They obviously didn't receive permission so they shouldn't have been soliciting money for their project while advertising it as a Ghosts n'

I just wanted to respond back and say thanks for your comment. This is one of the first times I've written a serious analysis of a topic on a gawker site and someone actually responded back with a well reasoned, thoughtful counter argument instead of resulting to insults or strawman arguments. The internet would be

I think the solution to this problem is for the courts to start enforcing the penalty for a false takedown notice. The DMCA states that knowingly filing a false takedown notice can result in the filer being found guilty of perjury. However, the courts have generally been very conservative in their interpretation of

Google is not the bad guy here that everyone is making them out to be. Google, more than anyone, has the potential to profit from overhauling the outdated copyright laws that we have in the US regarding digital media. It is in their interest for the law to allow people like SpookyFries69 create Lets Play videos and

I know your comment is a few months old, but I came across a neat tool online that looks at the history of names in America. Based on their research, your name "Marianne" hit its peak in the 40's where it was the 190th most popular name of the decade.

Second Paragraph: "including both Windows and Steam OS . . ."

A graphics comparison is kind of pointless when the video is compressed and at a resolution of 640x720 for each game. Sure, you can see geometry differences, but you aren't going to make out a lot of the subtle detail in the games at that resolution.

This is my biggest complaint with Japan as a society. An accusation of a crime in Japan is almost equivalent to conviction - the country has a guilty conviction rate of over 99%. Some of this is from prosecutors in Japan being much more careful and conservative in who they bring charges against. However, another

Let this serve as a lesson: trademark applications are vapours. If you go scouring through patent offices thinking everything you find is legit and is a product that's coming soon, you're gonna have a bad time.

That after watching that last one, now I really want valve to make a Team Fortress 2 / Left 4 Dead crossover.

Your best bet for a good $500 laptop is to buy one of the recommended $1000 laptops from 8-12 months ago. I you buy a discount computer that the companies build to market and sell in the $500 price range, you'll end up with a junky computer with poor build quality that will likely die on you within 2 years. On the

There is nothing preventing Alienware from manufacturing a similarly speced computer and marketing it as a steam machine.

Can you really not manage remote downloads from the steam mobile app? You've been able to do it from the website for quite a while, so I had assumed that the app included this functionality. I guess you can always go to the website from the browser on your smartphone.

That looks amazing!
