Let the hate come my way, but this trailer made me lose all interest. Aside from Raimi-cam, this looks like every other bland horror remake. It may as well be Texas Chainsaw Massacre all over again. Or Friday The 13th.

The commercial that you posted, and the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune trailer set to Massive Attack's "Dissolved Girl" were the one-two punch that sold me a PS3. I ended up buying the game before I had the money for the system, just as a way of committing myself to the future purchase.

Actually yeah. If I'm remembering correctly.

I absolutely loved EoN. Maybe my favorite post-Goldeneye64 Bond game. But I think I'd also throw Nightfire into the mix. It leaned a little more towards the shooter side of things, but it had a decent balance of driving/stealth/spy gadget stuff.

That bridge/motorcycle level was quite the rush.

Not exactly getting my mind off things. But certainly making me feel better.

Rude idiots are tough to deal with. They don't respond to facts, common sense, and courtesy.

My point is that if you wanted to be taken seriously and didn't want to be labelled a "dickhead," perhaps you shouldn't have made such an awful first impression.

That was a single facet of my distaste for multiplayer. And it certainly didn't warrant two snotty replies (one right after the other). But you're right. I guess I'm a jerk for taking offense.

But I don't enjoy multiplayer in general. And it annoys me when I merely state a preference for one piece of a game and it's met with dickhead responses.
