1. Nobody is eating a burger of any kind with health as a main concern.

Although I personally agree with that, it’s a very, very minor point. It’s pretty analogous to the various fake meat products that try to replicate taste and texture of real meat.
Yeah supps are fine. There are many top level pro athletes who have been vegan for a long time with issues (keep an eye out for the soon to be released doc, The Game Changers). Don’t forget that most livestock is supplemented with B12 becasue their diets are so unnatural. And with that, most people are deficient in…
I’ve been doing the vegan thing for a good amount of years now and I agree that long term, there’s not much reason to continue eating the imitation products. There is a whole world of stuff out there is great on it it’s own without trying to fake it. On the other hand, the good ones like Beyond and Impossible, make it…
Good info and quality username haha
Vegan culture/industry is starting to get a bit out of hand
I’d love to find out, but it’s hard to imagine this being much better than the 929 (the smooth bodied one from like 91-95). Great car with some silly quirks and features.
In this context, roof top tent.
Anybody who has read the VDEG (mandatory for anybody associating with “overlanding”) should know that travelling with anything on the roof is greatly frowned upon. Yes that includes your RTT. Your options are: put everything inside or bring less stuff.
Same with the 3rd Gen Supra.
Yeah I know what you mean. There were prototypes of those cars pushed out at car shows for years and years. It’s nice to have the car drop right away as the production-ready model, presumably available in a few months.
Right, it was teased for 50 years instead...
Not unless the Supra has about $10k on the hood.
Counter point:
I love that saying becasue it identifies the people who had no business owning a boat in the first place and can provide cheap boats for the rest of us.
Not beyond the wake of the ship and tugs (which should be small as they’re moving slowly). But the propellers churn up the water more and create currents that further erode the foundations. The water is open to the ocean so displacement isn’t an issue like it might be if it was in a small lake or lock or something.…
True about the tourist tax though it wouldn’t be that much and it would go towards upkeep of the city and to help locals stay in the city. There is already a few euro tax per night, paid at your hotel/Airbnb, but I think they were talking about it being mandatory for any visitor to the city, even day trippers.
The current proposals are: ban cruise ships from stopping in the city (they have to dock at the mainland nearby and bus in), a larger tourist tax, and making a reservation to enter the city ahead of time (with a cap on the number of reservations). As an American who loves Venice, I’m in favor of all those.
Yep, and beyond the crash last month and this incident, they fuck up the city in several other ways (turbulence in the water, exhaust fumes etc).
