 Yeah, I said it.

Definitely lens distortion.

Waiting patiently. These are sick photos.

Yeah there was definitely some shady money and people at that event.

Perfectly fair question.

The Model 3 having automatic breaking sure adds a layer of safety. And like you said, even simple, basic buttons and dials aren’t free from distracting you, much less the systems that are in most cars today.

Yes, becasue the author nor anybody else here has driven the car or used the UI.

Eh, I don’t think it’s much more of a distraction since the screen is closer to the driver, higher up, and close to the normal FOV.

Yeah, if nothing else, the Model 3 (and honestly, the Bolt) make me excited for the next gen of EVs.

The point is that nobody outside Tesla has really actually used it. And the few cars that have been sent out to owners are basically beta testers; if there are issues, they’ll be handled. Tesla has too much riding on this car to have it be a flop.

Rally car is best car.

Love the 4th and 5th gen ‘Ludes. They’re aging very well.

Interesting, how many miles are on your Model 3? Taken any big trips with it yet or just around town?

It’s more of an issue that they get unfairly criticized and I like to attempt to put some reason and thought into the anti-Tesla circle-jerk.

Yes.

Good point about Norway.

“That cold” was in reference to -30.

Maybe the screen in a Tesla will be better than the small phone screens we’re used to?

Not Duluth, but 3rd gen Wisconsinite with most other family in ND and family lake house up north. It doesn’t get that cold for more than a week per year on average. ND is colder, but it’s not the kind of place you’d want an EV anyway. They really make the most sense in larger cities, like Minneapolis for instance.
