My turn to make it all about me...and my sister. Almost every time something big or biggish happens in my life, my sister follows suit. I moved to a new city for a great job and almost immediately met someone I really liked (we’re married now). My sister was helping me get settled in to my new place when I met him and

Oh yes, Blue Ivy too! She’s going to have some stories. Do you think she has her own little camera crew following her along to make highly produced home movies for Bey and Jay? Does she ever wear the same clothes twice? Who are her friends?

I know someone on my FB feed who’s been sending around a blog about why no one should be surprised about Josh Duggar. But the content is not what you’d think—it’s about how every household is filled with sinners. Then it downplays the entire thing as sin and repentance. I just don’t understand how so many people

I can’t wait until Suri Cruise and the Brange brood are all grown up. I can’t wait to read their memoirs.

Did anyone else listen to the recent Criminal podcast about the romance scams? They’ll even chat online using a video recording of someone else they scammed. They’ll just make the sound seem broken so you can’t tell what’s actually happening.

I wonder if you’re right about the genetic thing. To me it is very mild. I generally don’t like bitter flavors. I hate IPAs, for example. But cooked okra doesn’t taste bitter to me at all.

The first time I had tempura vegetables, I loved them so much. They weren’t even good tempura vegetables, they were too greasy, but that didn’t stop me. I ate WAY too much and got so nauseated. It took me a long time to try them again. And now only in small quantities as I’m sure is intended.

Do you dislike okra altogether or just tempura okra? Because fried okra dredged in cornmeal is delicious and I will fight you to the bitter end on this one. Actually, I won’t because more for me! But I’m not sure I would like tempura okra because the tempura batter tastes so different.

I only ever see B-list and lower celebs and I’m the only one who ever recognizes them. They usually aren’t interesting enough to get excited about and I haven’t interacted with any of them except one and it was delightful. I was on a very long, delayed flight that landed in Chicago. By the time we arrived it was the

I wish that I ran into celebrities so I could do this. But I probably wouldn’t recognize them even if I did run into them.

This is what made him perfect for the role in Gone Girl. I think Gillian Flynn might even use those very words when Nick Dunne describes himself.

What a beautiful story! I’m sorry that you had to go through that dark time. But how nice to have someone like her help you through it.

Not completely surprising I suppose, but geez that must have sucked to hear if you were in school hoping to break into the art world.

I don’t know anything about art, but it sounds like you do. How did he get respected enough for shows and who is buying his ‘art’ for so much money? You have to have some clout to make the money. If I printed out a bunch of photos, no one would give me a show or pay me anything for them.

I’ll have to try them. I see that they sell them here, but I’ve never noticed them in the store.

I just looked them up and they sound really good! Wish they had them here. That’s the kind of veggie burger I like. Actual food is so much better than processed soy.

My problem with veggie burgers is that the best tasting ones are the ones that don’t try to be like meat. But sometimes they fall apart because they are made with grains and actual vegetables. So be careful how you grill them.

This morning I told my daughter (age 8) to run upstairs and get her shoes for school. She stood there (across the room from me) for a few seconds with a vey serious look on her face. Then a broad smile grew across her face, she giggled, and said “OK, but first come over her and take a big sniff.” giggle, giggle.
