If you can still find a pair of vintage Levi 501's or 505's you are a very capable person. They are hard to get a hold of. I finally brought vintage Levis at Urban Outfitters for 50 bucks. I had a pair from Goodwill a few years back but I wore them out.

That seems logical, not comical, and thats what most high rise jeans do, they fit right at the belly button. Which looks perfect.
