I love that FFXII is getting a second chance . I played the heck out of this game back in 2006 out and people complained so much about the combat and Vaan. Cool to hear that Basch was going to be the main character and wish it had remained that way, because he is my favorite FFXII character.

To solve this whole issue all they should do is get rid of grinding the gear. Why? In MMORPG's even though gear has a level requirement and an item level (which is what light level is, just an item level system) you do not have to level the actual gear to increase the item level.

Was I the only one that saw the Eruptor balloon and had no idea who he was? I must be getting old...
