i try to use cheddar, because of my american roots, naturally. but it is cheddar PDO (sorry i looked it up, not AOP), a white with salt crystals, and it has been so long i am not even sure what american “cheddar” tastes like any more. but comte is one of my first favorite french cheeses, so i like to use that too. i

nah, here’s some better for intense tripping from that same era...

as an american immigrant in france, i cannot even find mac and cheese in the foreign food section. so i make baked mac and cheese myself with; carmelized onions, smoked lardon, celery, and two or three cheeses like comte, cheddar AOP, and gruyere. my kid loves it! :D

well i wish they would change the R too, since the serif makes it look pigeon-toed to me

actually doing pretty good. in france schools are reopening next week. this looks all set to go with no major roadblocks despite france having a recent major uptick in COVID19 cases. this is very disturbing, but for the moment it is only known cases that are going up and not hospitalisations and deaths. in fact,

i was on utila island off the coast of honduras, a former pirate outpost, about 15 years ago. i was taking scuba classes up to divemaster over the course of two months. a lot of the locals spoke garafuna, a local creole. i wish i could remember more about what was said, but we were all drunk at a local bar. a local

sooooo... the only anatomical cross-section of that region of the body, happened to be female? it still won’t help finding the clitoris, it’s not labeled there. :D

or for example in france it costs about €2000 to take the required class to learn how to drive and then you have three chances to take and pass the exam, without further expenses. i won’t say that the french are better drivers. but they know the rules of the road and how to drive, then they can ignore all that at will

give it to the french doing it since the 1800s! unfortunately i could not find another video that could beat this guy though... :D

i liked it enough to buy the second and third books. yes, i would say it is worth it. if i do not like a series, i am not one that is going to continue because it is a series. with this series, i have to parcel it out so i do not read it too fast, and i have a feeling that i will reread it sometime in the near future.

i have hit pause again for playing games. i find that they, and social media, have been taking too much of my time and i have none left for any reading. so much reading is ensuing...

there is no great junkyard in the sky... the junkyard is for their mortal remains, which rest on earth. when they leave this mortal coil, they ascend to the great celestial highways and heavenly mountain roads. :D

i was thinking the same thing... COVID-DAVID-20! creating hotspots throughout europe!

oops, i just saw that it says no photos... too late! :D

ha ha! if i ever got out of the grays, i am sure i would win!

heh! you are right! at least on one count... for some reason, in my head i was spelling it bagle. so... bah-gehl! ;)

in france we would pronounce it a une bah-gluh! :D

here in france, the virus has been a slow burn since the end of the lockdown. there is still a national 7 day average of 500-600 cases per day, and 12 dead average per day. but it seems to be managable and levels have not changed much since the reopening. so things have even been close to normal, though they did begin
